press the INIT button on the left hand side - then when init comes on screen press the arrow key on the top right hand side button configiration. itw ill take you through the time formats each time you press it and then you will get the time showing with the hours flashing. press the auto manual button just under and to the left of the up arrow key used just previously. once you get the desired time, press the arrow up key again and it will go to the minutes and once again by pressing the auto manual key just underneath to move the minutes up again then press INIt gain and the time is set. took ages to work out !1

Replaced pulse switch on my piece of crap 2002 kia rio cinco crap cleared the po 501 code ran good for about 5 miles still having problems code came back on will not shift pass 5000 rmp so im tired of this car. Its getting parked into a tree tomorrow im to tired tonight so good luck to you kia owners i give up. This damn thing is a money pit..... Nevering ending

Kia's have rear calipers with screw in pistons. You must buy a tool from your local auto parts store called a "cube" it has little notches that fit into grooves on the piston. Then attach a standard socket and screw in the piston.

1. Behind each light you will see a small door in the back liner. Remove the 2 plugs in each door by pulling them straight out. 2. Gently pull back liner doors to expose rear of light assembly. 3. Remove three brass 10mm nuts from exposed bolts. 4. Slightly lift up bottom inside corner of light assembly, Pull back or sideways to center of bumper or trunk rear with wiggle movement to pull out rear light assembly. Takes a little while, but piece of cake.

u will have too remove the radio out to get CD out. once removed pull the top cover of the radio off and pull the CD out or go to a kia dealer they have an exchange program to replace your radio/CD player u will need the radio code too if u are pulling out the radio your self. once u got your CD out throw the radio away it will give u more troubles in the future. zulux is the brand and they r crap. please recommend me if u get it out. good luck.

drop the tailgate on side of bed where tailgate closes are couple of screws. thses hold the light assembly in bed. remove thse ,then remove light assembly light bulb is the able to be removed from back of assembly

Pry the Velcro up from the trunk lid side of the panel.Open the door to the CD player if you are doing the left side. Pinch the tabs in the center and pull back slightly. Then you have to fiddle with getting the brake bulb past the trim.

Unfortunately, this is not like changing spark plugs or rotating tires. In order to determine the major cause of the malfunction, you will need to find out if the engine is equipped with mechanical (earlier model vehicles with carburetors) or hydraulic lifters (mostly in fuel injected engines). In the first case, mechanical lifter malfunction can be caused by the lift springs becoming worn and losing their resistance, allowing the valves to stick open, even slightly. These must be removed and tested for consistent strength to specifications and replaced, if necessary. Check the valves for build up and clean with an approved solvent. Replace any valve seals as a worn seal can gum up causing sticky valves. For the hydraulic lifters, they are fed by the oil pressure developed when the engine turns, generally keeping constant pressure. Mechanical lifters can be adjusted by a mechanic, but hydraulic lifters, if clogged by contaminated or old oil, cannot; they will need to be replaced. Also, the oil supply comes through the cam and if it is clogged it can be cleaned out, but the process will involve tearing apart the engine. This is costly and not something you can do at home unless you have all the proper tools. Your best bet will be to have the vehicle taken to an authorized repair shop for the make/model of vehicle and be prepared to dish out some hard earned cash.

u cant once u remove the chime or the relay the immobilizer will stop functioning and u dont wont that because your car wont start. please recoomend me if this helps

The obvious answer would be a partial blockage somewhere in the air system. Start from the air intakes and work thorugh to the air vents inside the car.

my kia rio 2001 losses power at 50 mph and if ipresss the acelerator to full trotle the power comes again but the engine after some secons fails again what can be the problem.
