If there was run off into the pond during the "bad weather" some polutant (s) may have got into the pond. A full chemical check of the water would be indicated or maybe if you can't do that a very large water change may help.

They are probably spawning. The ones doing the chasing will be males the ones being chased will be the females. If you look closely at the fishes gill plates you will notice white dots/spots on them. There could also be the same kind of spots on the fishes pectoral fins. They are not disease they are the markings males of the species (Carassius sp.) develop when they are in breeding condition.

in short yes sturgeon can be kept in the same pond as kopi but need different care

sturgeon require your pond to be well oxygenated, they also need different food to the koi (sinking pellets) and will have to be removed when administering ertain treatments that are safe for koi but not them (sometimes need removing for upto 2 weeks)

It depends on the size of the eel and the koi. I have koi, and they are aggressive to other fish. I was raising a few small ones in a tank and they nipped the fins off my guppy. I wouldn't put the two fish together unless the eel is pretty big. Watch them for a few days and if the eel has injuries or is behaving strangely, take it out.

I've personally never tried the chemical or heard of anyone that has, but heavy metals, such as copper, is not healthy for fish. Many types of pool algaecide are formulated to kill all living organisms in pools from algae to larvae. So it would stand to reason this would not be ideal for fish.

A Koi should grow around 6 to 8 inches long in its first year. By age 3 it should be about 24 inches long. I guess that's a reasonable growth rate

Yes, they won't bother them.the Carp and Koi are among the same family and are scrap eaters. they dont eat other fish, they eat the scraps they find to be tasty in the bottom of the lake or pond. this is why most people dont recommend eating them

Just type it in a google search for Karma Ambiagram. it'll bring up a page that is it written as an ambiagram (you can read it, then flip it upside down and it still says the same thing). and it as an Ambiagram Circle that is just awesome. But, as far as symbol, the only real symbol for Karma is the Wheel of karma, and it's really just not that Visually stimulating. there is also a Japanese kanji that means Karma, it's eye appealing, and it means karma. well a live koi tattoo is luck so i would think a dead one would b the opposite
