If the level keeps increasing it may mean that you have an essential thrombositosis.

Pulmonary fibrosis is scarring of the lung. Apical means the finding was at the top peak of the lung. Chronic indicates long-standing. Atlectasis means areas of the lung that are not inflating, and multifocal means that it's present in multiple areas. So, to sum up, there is lung standing lung scarring at the peak of the lung with multiple areas that aren't getting air. The finding can be caused by toxic exposures, connective tissue disease, or infectious disease, and any treatment will be based on the underlying cause. The phrase indicates a radiologic finding, not a diagnosis.
Can you be arrested for having an illegal drug show up in your urine test results?
Are you on U.A.'s for probation or is it for a job? If it is for a job they can not, they will probably just not hire you.
But if you fail while on probation depending on the drug and how your U.A.'s have been coming out previously, they can revoke your probation. They may not arrest you on the spot, but it can be different for each county or state. But that's what public defenders and lawyers are for.
Just to let you know, for probation even if you're Not on drugs but your U.A.'s come out diluted or abnormal they consider this just as bad as if you were on drugs.
Yes.
The average time span for short term memory is 18-20 seconds when there is an attempt to remember the item. And it can be much shorter, some argue even milliseconds when unattended to.
Echoic memory lasts for about 4-5 seconds. This occurs with auditory stimuli. An example is when you can "re-hear" something that was said to you, which you didn't initially pay attention to.
Therefore if someone had said something without consciously attending to what they were saying, after 4-5 seconds they may not recall what they had just said.

Will hydrocodone test positive for narcotics in laboratory urine test?
Yes, Hydrocodone will test positive on a drug test for opiates and opiates are narcotics. If you have a drug test and you are being prescribed hydrocodone just take your bottle with you to the drug test and let the examiner see it . If you are not prescribed hydrocodone then you will fail the test.
Depends but probably. Some opioid tests react with oxycodone (even if they are called 'morphine' tests), some don't. (percocet is oxycodone + acetaminophen). To be safe, you'll want 10 days clean after your last dose of oxycodone. If you only have 5 days, you will probably be okay.
Find out about flushing your system. Buy an opiate drug test online or at a pharmacy. Note that some have 300ng/ml detection cutoff others have 2000ng/ml cutoff (and some don't detect oxycodone). -Dr.Z
Are there critical or panic values for a red blood cell count?
There is not a critical/panic value associated with red blood cell counts. The RBC is usually not clinically significant but the hemoglobin and hematocrit are. Hematocrit is calculated using the red count, that is why it is needed.

USP ethanol is a very pure form of un-denatured alcohol used for dissolving medications. If you see something labeled "elixir" this is the solvent.
And seriously, dude, USP ethanol is a ripoff if you're drinking it, because Everclear is pretty much the same stuff at half the price. (The one guy I know who has consumed USP ethanol says it makes the best screwdrivers you'll ever taste. I'll take his word for it. 'Course, he's been in AA for the last 35 years and this stuff put him there...)
Since USP ethanol is just overpriced Everclear, it can be detected in urine or with a breathalyzer. It won't throw "false results"--it will throw true positives because it's the same thing as Everclear.

What diagnostic tests are used to confirm diabetes?
There are several blood tests that can diagnose diabetes. The most common is a fasting blood glucose test, where the glucose level is measured after at least eight hours of fasting. The blood glucose can be measured without fasting, but it can only diagnose diabetes, not prediabetes.
The oral glucose tolerance test monitors how a body responds to an influx of glucose. After fasting for a least 8 hours, blood glucose levels are measured before and every 30-60 minutes after the ingestion of a glucose beverage for three hours.
A urine test for high levels of glucose and ketones can help diagnose diabetes, but these results are not enough on their own.
