Id like to say your laptops suck I bought one for 600 and with-in six months the screws began to fall out of the bottom, I was on bed rest with a cast on, so I know I didnt do any thing to it, it sat on a computer table with wheels, Ill will never buy any thing made by them again, I tried calling to have it fixed and got the run around, so I informed family and friends not to buy from you ever,, hope your sales go down to the point that you start caring for the people who spend money making you witches rich,, good luck..

Do all laptops have CD burner capabilities?
No. Many older laptops' drives cannot burn CDs. The Macbook Air does not even contain a CD / DVD drive, let alone one capable of writing. Similarly, most ASUS Eee PC models do not have a CD / DVD drive.
How do you change the contrast on an hp pavilion dv7?
I have a new HP Pavilion dv7-6140eo and the screen has really bad contrast. Larger black areas look greyish. You could adjust the brightness but it does not solve anything. Looks like HP gave us a really bad screen.
First of all, Wireless-G give overall poor performance. I would recommend switching to Wireless-N.
The first troubleshooting you should to is check to make sure that you are not turning your wireless network card on and off because of a poorly positioned button or switch.
Next, is the "Main computer" plugged into the router with a cable? If so, then you are getting interference from one of your other wireless appliance. This occurs when another wireless appliance, such as a wireless phone, transmits on the same frequency as the Router.
If not, then your laptops Wireless network card is not long for this world :(. Next time you disconnect, run windows network diagnostics.

Ram never holds anything in it after the laptop is shut down..so don't worry. As per the RAM compatibility...If that laptop's Ram type is DDR2 and your one's is DDR3 then it wont..but if they are same...They will.
