I am a Ford Mechanic and I happen to own a 94 Lexus ES300, and your not going to like this....to get to the three plugs in the back you have to put a jack up the car, put jack stands under the front of the car, then you take the jack put a piece of wood on it so you dont damage the oil pan, raise the jack under the engine just enough to take the pressure off the engine mounts. Then you have to unbolt and remove the engine mounts, then lower the jack. now the engine will be low enough so you can access the rear plugs. RECOMENDATION...If I were you sence changing the plugs on this car is such a pain I would spend a few extra dollars and get the pre-gapped Bosch Platinum 4 prong spark plugs, they last the life of the vehicle and never have to be re-gapped. This way as painfull as changing them is, you will NEVER have to do it again.-Sean All you need it a Flexable adapter that can connects to your extention and you can add extentions and reach them from the top.. Still not easy but reachable. Regards.

Undo the crankshaft pulley bolt { anti clockwise } Then you will need a good strong puller to remove it.

or try to move it by tapping the back of if fairly hard until it comes off.

been awhile since I last looked but if you crawl under the spare tire with your head towards the front. You will look up right before the spot where the spare tire lays into the trunk and you will see it. I think it is right above the axle? but I do know it's right before the spare tire holder.

Reset the system by doing the following: First, turn the ignition key to the "ACC" or "LOCK" position with the odometer reading shown. Second, turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off.

is the 30 amp fuse that on the junction block #1. j/b #1 is located on the side of the fuse panel on the drivers side of the interior. you'll need to remove the lower panels that are under the steering wheel and move the floor vents ductwork out of the way. you see three different fuses(the square type with the clear view covers). two are 40amp and one is 30amp. the 30 amp is it

The 2007 Lexus ES-350 has 52.8 in. of rear hip room.

(1) Remove the right front wheel. (2) Then the wheel body dust cover (two screws). (3) The thermostat housing is now viseable 3 screws secured the thermost to the engine block.

I just encountered this problem with my 1997 Explorer. If your vehicle is equipped with the center console containing the trip/econ/system check computer, there is a switch inside that can burn out. If you noticed a burnt smell recently, this is the most likely source and it will take out your tail lights, while still showing them "Okay" on the system check. It is approximately a $60 fix.

Loosen the bolt right below the tensioner screw and then tighten. Once it is tight enough, tighten the bolt back down and your done. Hello' Unless you are talking about the timing belt, there is not serpentine belt on a Lexus ES300. The timing belts is the one that runs thru the two camshaft, the water pump and the crankshaft. This belt can easily be tighten just like the above user say, however, be very carefull with the tensionomer, cause it has a pressed shaft on it that coul be dangerous.

There are pages and pages of things that can cause a check engine light. You need to have it checked with a scantool. Then the code can be diagnosed and repaired. Unless a code is not sent or recorded, or is inconclusive (as observed on my 1998 ES 300). It does not appear that the Trac Off light is causing problems with the traction control, so my current hypothesis is that a wiring problem or ground problem is causing the lights to appear and are not an indicator of a problem. --------------------------------------------

A week ago, on my Lexus ES 300 (2001), "Check Engine" and "Trac Off" lights came on. This coincided with me filling the gas tank to the brim to round the dollar to be paid. Some websites suggested that the "Trac Off" is related to the gas tank cap not being tight. I cleaned the gas tank cap and the tank opening. However, both lights persisted. On the same day, when I turned on the car again, there was a hesitance, a stuttering to come on, like the battery was going down. Both "Check Engine" and "Trac Off" lights were still on.

The next day, the car wouldn't come on at all. It sounded as the battery was dead. I couldn't even jump start the car. Usually, if the battery is completely drained, jump starting will not work. So, I got a new battery from Costco ($56.99) and put it in. (There is a $9 fee if you do not turn in the old battery).

It took 15-20 seconds of cranking to get the car started. Once it was started, the engine sounded fine and the RPM was normal. The "Check Engine" light was off. However, the "Trac Off" was still on. I cleaned the gas tank cap one more time.

The next morning, when I turned the car on, there was no problem at all. It came on instantly as it used to be, didn't have any warning lights, and drove smoothly.

The gas tank cap getting dirty and the battery being down are unrelated things, which just happened on the same day. I do not know which one caused which warning light to come on though.

You can go until the engine stops. Dumb question.

There are screws in the air vents that have to be unscrewed. That's the only tricky part other than that it's pretty easy. make sure you disconnect your battery before doing any of this.

The 2013 Lexus ES-350's engine produces 248 ft-lbs. @ 4700 rpm.

The 2014 Lexus ES-300H runs on regular unleaded.
