Yes... it backwheel drive so your tire size should be 245/35/20... they might rub a little when you have a few people in the car...

My 1998 Lexus LS400 has a small lever to pull that releases the trunk. The lever is on the left side of the dash about 8 to 10" from the door.This lever can be locked with the key, so that the trunk cannot be accessed without unlocking the lever with the key. Note that the Valet Key cannot be used to unlock this lever. Note that the gas fill door release is to the left of the trunk release lever.

You have to remove all of the screws. all the way around the outside of the panel and under armrest. Phillips heads. Careful when you remove to hold it in place all the wires are connected inside you need to unclamp those.

4" speakers

I will venture an answer here based solely on my knowledge of the 90s SCs, as I own only the in-line 6-cylinder SC300s, not SC400s, but there is a lot of design similarity and commonality. If you're looking for the fuse boxes on an early to late 90s SC400, see the question "Where are the fuses for a 92 SC300?" (or something like that.) I bet they're in the same place. Under the hood, driver side, and floorboard driver side under the dash near left foot clutch / brake placement behind the panel.

It's in the gas tank

1. You have to pop out the bottom rear seat (pull up about 4 inches from the seat edge)

2. Remove the bolts holding the rear back support

3. Slide the rear back support up and remove

4. There is a flap in the center that you flip up and you will find a circular plate

5. Remove plate with a scraper or screwdriver

6. There will be another plate with 8 Phillips screws to be removed

7. You will next find the fuel pump inside the fuel tank attached by 3 nuts

Note- disconnect the battery at least 90 seconds before starting work near the gas tank.

Here are a few steps to follow while replacing the belt.

- Firstly make sure the engine is cool, thus avoiding you from getting burnt

- Disengage the battery and chock the wheels so that the car cannot roll.

- Remove all obstructions to the timing belt cover which include:

a) Remove the air intake assembly.

b) Loosen the pulley that powers the water pump.

c) Remove any other accessories that interfere with access to the timing belt.

- Remove the timing belt cover bolts and pull the cover off.

- Check the tensioner bearings. Replace them if they are loose or noisy. I usually order genuine parts from lexuspartsdirect.

- Check the camshaft and crankshaft seals. If they leak, it could cause premature failure of the new timing belt. Replace them if necessary.

- Make sure that all timing marks are properly aligned, then loosen the timing belt tensioner and remove the timing belt.

- Put the new belt in place. Adjust the tension, if necessary. Make sure that it sits well over the teeth of the timing sprockets.

- Apply a new gasket to the timing belt cover and replace it.

- Reinstall all of the accessory pumps that you took off earlier, including the water pump.

- Check that all timing marks are still properly aligned.

- Reinstall the air intake assembly.

- Reconnect the battery.

- Start the engine and listen carefully to how it runs. You shouldn't hear any loud knocks if the timing is still

I assume you mean "heater". And a sudden failure is probably just the motor going bad.

Probably in the shifter wire loose or off.

Under the drivers side kick panel for fuses 1 thru 21, 22 thru 34 are under the hood on driver side.

Open the hood, lower front of the engine, drivers side.

Bad battery? Could be the wiring harness in the charging system. If the replacement alternator was a used part, it might also be bad (yes this has happened to me).

check the a/c clutch if wobbles it will short out system

Another solution is check the owner's manual for the fuse box layout. It could be the AC fuse, or even the cigarette lighter fuse.

Lexus motor company recommends using 10W-30 weight motor oil in all of its cars. Automobiles driven in extreme climates are recommended to use a heavier motor oil.

YOU"RE USING CHEAP GAS DUDE>>>>Use factory specification premium gasoline...When she runs rough like that pretty sure it's the continued use of cheap gas..

Left side by the steering column there is a trunk switch.

Either bad connection or the pump is burned out.

Can also be a blown fuse or defective fuel pump relay.

Have this done by a professional. It requires a torque wrench and knowledge of the necessary tightness to safety secure a new seat belt. This is not something you want to DIY.

Behind the drivers kick panel

it should be blowing cold air(wish mine did)but really though you might try to adjust the warm air control i think we are on the same page i found out if you turn your control knob all the way counter clock wise to the coldest postition it closes the vent from the outside, the recyle should kick on and not allow outside air to come in even if the controler is turned off
