How do you get a license to clean houses?

Well it depends as far as the licensing goes. You need to check with your state and local government to determine if you need a license for a cleaning business. For the bonding and general liability insurance you should carry coverage to protect you against any claim that may occur. The liability policies and surety bonds are not that expensive

Your state insurance department is your best resource for insurance-related questions and concerns.

Who is responsible if neighbors tree falls on your car?

Insured natural Acts?Fortunately, no one is held liable for acts of nature. If a tree fell on your house whether from your yard or some other yard due to a natural occurrence you should be covered under you own homeowners policy for the damage. Likewise if your tree fell onto your neighbors house, the damage would be covered by his or her Homeowners insurance.

I saw on one of the court shows where that exact thing happened. A tree fell into a neighbor's yard and damaged their fence. The neighbor tried to sue the guy who's tree had fallen. However, the judge said that it was not the guy's fault that mother nature caused the tree to fall. However, if the neighbor had given multiple written notices in advance asking the neighbor to please have the tree chopped down, the she would have had evidence that there was an on-going problem and the guy would have been responsible for damages to her fence.

The analysis is somewhat more complex, and involves the issue of negligence. Stated otherwise, if the was known, or should have been known, to be rotten or otherwise subject to collapse, its owner was responsible for attending to it. If it does cause damage due to its weakened condition, the owner's liability insurance should answer for the neighbor's damage. The failure to have attended to the tree when the owner know that it was likely to cause damage is the essence of negligence.

If, for some reason, the damaged party's insurer pays for the repair, it can subrogate against the tree owner (and his/her insurer) and attempt to recover its payment. That process is called subrogation.

Is it legal to open someone else's mail at work?

Answer

No. Federal privacy laws prohibits the opening of another person's mail. Title 18-Part 1-Chapter 83-1703 states in part that "Whoever, without the authority opens or destroys any mail or newspaper package not directed to him shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year or both." Obviously there can be large variances in how the law is applied.

Wrong! That law applies only to postal employees. Well, unless the question was posted by a postal employee, in which case....

See 463 F.Supp 128; 403 F.Supp. 1368;

Try 18 USC 1702. That one applies to civilians:

Whoever takes any letter, postal card, or package out of any post office or any authorized depository for mail matter, or from any letter or mail carrier, or which has been in any post office or authorized depository, or in the custody of any letter or mail carrier, before it has been delivered to the person to whom it was directed, with design to obstruct the correspondence, or to pry into the business or secrets of another, or opens, secretes, embezzles, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

What is the penalty for giving a false testimony about someone in California?

Provided by a member of Dads House

There is no specific penalty: it could be prosecuted under the Penal Code provision that covers false reports of all kinds, but in practice such prosecution is relatively rare, in part because domestic violence is so broadly defined that a wide range of acts might, conceivably qualify as a crime, and because of a common `belief' that imposing a standard of accuracy or veracity to any meaningful degree would have an inhibitory or chilling effect on reporting, which it's said would allow real crimes to go uninvestigated.

The accusations of domestic violence that accompany petitions for family court restraining or protective orders are not `reports,' or complaints that could spawn criminal charges, and essentially cannot in any legal sense be `false.'

Question isn't clear enough. Are you asking about a roadside collection box or a rural-type delivery box.

In the first case - the local municipality will undoubtedly have a regulation keeping it clear enough for a vehicle to pull up to it.

In the latter case - Postal Regulations do not require a carrier to make a delivery to any roadside mailbox which they cannot gain ready access without leaving their vehicle.

The answer to the question is yes. However, if the handgun is kept in the house with the felon, the felon cannot have access to the gun, which means basically the gun must be locked up where the felon cannot access it, or the non-felon must always keep it in his or her possession where the felon cannot access it.

A noise ordinance is generally a municipal ordinance that prevents an entity1 or object from making extreme or unreasonable noises at all or during a period of time set forth by the municipal code.

Generally, you can be charged with Disturbing the Peace, is for instance, you blast your radio at 3 a.m. Generally it's expected of citizens to become peaceful at 10:00 p.m on weekdays and 12:00 midnight on weekends.

Can you be nude in your own garden?

It depends on where you live and what your local statutes are.

For example, where I live, you can be naked in your yard as long as your genitals can not be seen from the main road, from a shared driveway, or from your neighbor's house either from a high window or standing flatfooted in the center of their yard looking toward your yard. What that means is if there is a six foot fence separating our yards and a neighbor looks at my yard from the center of theirs flat on their feet, they obviously couldn't see my private parts. But if they looked from a second floor window and saw me, I would be in violation. Also, if they stood on a ladder, box, or climbed the fence, they would be in violation of peeping.

So it again depends on how private your yard is and your local laws.

There are also many places worldwide that tolerate or allow people to be naked such as clothing optional beaches and resorts.

What is the sentence for a juvenilr charged with assault and batyery with injury?

There are many factors which may play a role in determining the sentence for a juvenile in an assault case. The circumstances, nature of the crime, mental competency of the individual, previous record, judge, compliance, plea bargain etc. The best advice I can give you is to be compliant, show remorse for what you have done, be on your best behavior, and respect authority. One might be sentenced to 3-6 months in the juvenile detention facility followed by anger management courses, and probably probation upon release. This sentence is only if everything goes according to the program, if the juvenile is causing trouble or being rebellious the sentence may be prolonged or other charges may be brought up and extend their stay until adulthood in some cases.
