Nobody should use the abomination that is Internet Explorer. Microsoft use to make a version of Internet Explorer for Macs which was for some time the default browser on Macs. The last was version 5.2.3 in 2003. It was neither very good or popular and Mac users would often install alternative browsers. In 2003 Apple announced their own browser based on the KHTML KJS code. They called their layout engine WebKit which made it available under a GNU General Public Licence so anybody can use the code and contribute to its development. The WebKit core is the basis for Apple's Safari and Google's Chrome browsers as well as mobile browsers developed by Nokia, RIM, Palm etc.

It is not a case of suitability as it is technically possible to install and run Mac OS X on many computers (such an installation is referred to as Hackintosh) but the wording of the EULA (End User LIcensing Agreement - the Software license you agree to when you install the software) specifies that Apple only make Mac OS X available for their own Apple branded hardware and so it becomes illegal to install it on non-Apple hardware. Is this iTunes icon in the dock? Grab it and drag it out of the Dock, and it will go away. Then drag the icon of the application you want to use into the Dock.

If you mean the application icon...that's fixable too, at least on a Mac. Create or get the new icon you want. Copy it. Find iTunes, which is in the Applications folder, and do Get Info--command-I. Click on the icon at the top of the info box, and Paste the new icon in. Very easy to do.
