To restore regular colours will depend on what colours you have at the moment. I guess that you (or someone else) have reversed the colours by pressing the Control/Option/Command and 8 keys (ctrl/alt/cmd 8). Pressing them again will toggle the colours back to normal. One can get G4 memory updates for a Mac through Macmemory, macsales and Apple. Apple would be the first place to look as they are the company that makes the Mac.

You want to use a removable storage medium to get this thing done easily (i.e. CD-R, Flash drive, ZIP Drive etc).

Second option is, if your old computer is still operational and can connect to the internet, get a Cloud computing service such as Google Drive or Online storage such as MediaFire and transfer the files from old computer to the internet and download back to new one. However, search the internet first because those files might already will be there for you.

You will need your operating system disk to solve this. Go to your control panel, then to add/remove programs. Then to add / remove windows components find the e-mail program and uncheck it to remove it totally. Then close it out go there again and re-check it. This should re-install the program.

The first step is to get the necessary drivers and applications installed. Read the instructions that came with it. Usually this is only a matter of plugging the camera into your computer and putting the CD in. The CD should autorun and install everything itself. But read the manual if you get stuck.

Most camera's come with the software needed, usually you will find after the CD has autorun there will be some icons on your desktop. That's the software, and probably one or two other things as well.

If you have installed a new operating system, and want the old one back: You would need a recovery disk of the old operating system.

If you want to revert the operating system back to its factory settings: You can use a recovery disk. Some operating systems have a function that allows you to restore it to a previous state.

If you do use a recovery disk, make sure you back up all your data (save all your pictures, word documents, files of importance) in some sort of external media (external hard drive, or flash drive).

Garageband is great for recording songs with live instruments.

It is awful at notating music though. Its does have a pretty good midi interface but the notating is pretty limited.

If you are looking to write scores and music Sibelius is much better. I have only used a demo of Sibelius, but still, it lets you do just about anything with the notation. It also allows you to play back what you've written as well.

If you are asking why Microsoft makes more software than Apple, I'm not entirely sure that's the case. They both make many software programs.

If you are asking why there is a greater number of programs that work with Windows than with Mac OS X, that is due to the historically large market share of Windows. Developers decided to focus on Windows rather than Mac OS which had a very small market share.

As it stands, the Mac market share is growing, along with its software library. Now, you can get Mac software for any purpose, with the exception of a shrinking number of Windows-only games.

It should be noted that much of the bulk of Windows software consists of highly redundant or low quality programs.
