My advice to ANYONE marrying someone who has been married twice - look hard at what caused the marriages to fail before. In almost all cases it was a two way street, and unless there has been a lot of change and/or counseling in the life of the potential spouse, there isn't any reason to think the outcome will be different this time. Please think this out. I don't think it's a good idea. The fact he has been married twice before means he is not willing to take a good hard look at himself and get help for his problem. It is so true that more women seek psychiatric help than men do. Most men feel they must, at all costs, be a man and figure their problems out themselves (you know ... the old stiff upper lip thing.) Marriage is tough enough, so I'd wait a bit before you consider marriage. If you truly love him, and he's not getting help for his problem just tell him like it is ... get help, then we will think about marriage. Unfortunately, many people seem to believe that they can "make it better". All this person needs is the right loving, caring individual to help them and all of the problems will go away. If the guy is bipolar there is good reason to be concerned.
My advice: Run.Marriage is a wonderful union when it's with the right person. I would advise you to be mindful of the redflags you raised just with your question alone. The first thing being that you already labeled him. Bipolar man. This is an illness that can bring with it times of sweet sweet highs, and deep dark lows. Being married to someone who is bipolar can be difficult simply because you can't fix the hurts this illness can cause. You can't be the one to make someone want treatment if they aren't willing to accept they are ill. Sometimes it's hurtful to be alongside someone who is ill and you are just going to have to ride out the highs and lows. There are medication changes, side effects, the symptoms can be unbearable for the one who is bipolar. So you can imagine how it can affect the one who is loving and living the illness without actually having been diagnosed with it. Being in love, married to, or live with someone who is bipolar is the closest you can come to actually having it, without having it. But to label him already, you might need to educate yourself about what you are willing to walk down the isle with. So that when things come up you have some idea how to deal with what is bipolar, and what is just everyday life. Sometimes the line is sooooo very thin, it's hard to tell. I would also look at the flags that are raised about why he has been married 2 times.
And when he talks about his ex wives what does he say? Does he accept any responsibility when it comes to saying why those marriages failed? If he doesn't I don't know if I would be so quick to walk down the isle with him.

Yes, for some people. There are people that have had spouses they truly loved pass away, and then eventually found someone else. There are also people who believe they can marry their soul mate, and that they are the love of their life, but they also feel that they can have very good friends that are their soul mates. They can totally get each other and be there for each other without being romantically involved.
Signs your husband is no longer in love with you?
I feel it is almost impossible to accurately know the true answer to that question. I think that most importantly you need to ask yourself "Have you been Lovable?" if you have and you still do not feel any love back from your husband, for sure you need to ask him and make sure he knows what your emotional needs are and the ones that are not being met.
AnswerPeter gave you some solid advice. I've been married for 32 years and sometimes a married couple becomes like a pair of old slippers ... comfy, the other is suppose to know what the other one wants at all times, mind-reading (LOL) etc. For some married couples the "honeymoon is over" once reality sets in of rushing off to work, working shift work or working late, paying mortgages and bills. Then along comes your children. Raising kids as most know is a full-time job and often the wife can be so tired she forgets her husband is around.I also suggest that you sit down with your husband and voice your concerns. Men just go about their daily working lives and don't really think as in depth re relationships as women do. Your husband probably thinks everything is A-OK. When you tell him your feelings be sure you have some solutions to your problems such as:
"You know, perhaps we should take a vacation or at least a mini vacation. We can leave the kids with mom and dad or friends."
or
"Wouldn't it be great if we decided to take one day off each weekend and either go out and visit friends, take in a movie, go to a nice pub or restaurant?"
or
"I miss cuddling and talking about our hopes and dreams with you. How about a nice romantic dinner together at home (I'll ship the kids off to their grandparents) and there will just be the two of us."
Be sure and ask your husband if he has any concerns as well.
Things are going to be OK!
Come home late, he is dry towards you most especially in bed.
Can you have your honeymoon at home?
Yes, but it could be difficult deciding which home to have the wedding in if both homes are about the same size.
Some people believe in love at first sight, while others believe it takes time to love someone. In the past many parts of the world, a couple met for the very first time on their wedding day. Their marriage had been arranged by their parents. Today arranged marriages still exist in many cultures however some couples are given permission to meet before their wedding day. An arranged marriage is not necessarily and unhappy marriage. Arranged marriages that meet with the consent of the couple to marry should be allowed to continue because they result in fewer divorces. however if a women is married but her husband died she can't get married again because she is considered used and damaged.
