How do you remove the car stereo from a Mazda Speed 3?
To begin remove trim panel above radio and glove box by gently prying up from left side of trim with small screwdriver (snap-in posts,4 total) be careful on right side because it hooks in, angle the whole panel off dash. Next remove two screws just above radio and angle up and toward you to remove top dash panel. next remove two screws top of radio, grab top of radio and pull straight towards you, slides right out!
How do you change low beam headlamp on a 2005 Mazda 3?
It's not easy. You need a flashlight. First, take the batter vent assembly off by removing the screw over the headlamp assembly. Open the battery box by snapping off the tabs, lift out, and move the vent to the side. Second, disconnect the headlight wire by pressing down on the opposing tabs located on the side of the connector and pull straight back. Move the wire to the side. Next, peel the rubber fitting around the bulb (located on the back of the headlamp assembly). Look inside the headlamp assembly with a flashlight to see what you got yourself into. You'll have to unhook the retainer wire that holds the bulb in place. This requires you to push the top part of the wire toward the front of the car and lift up. The wire should swing to the left (passenger side) releasing the bulb and bulb housing. Pull the old bulb out of the housing (it might be tight), replace with the new one (try not to touch the glass). Replace the bulb/housing. Make sure the little tap fits back into its slot (upper diver side). Push the wire clamp back over the bulb, pushing up back and down making sure it's hooked and your done. It seems easy once you've done it. Have fun.

Follow the tube comming from the right side of the motors (inlet tube from throttle body) it will connect to a retangle box. There are 2 flip flips on top. Undo those, and push it forward and pull up a little. You got to fight with it to get it out.
Where do you find the location of the oil filter on a Mazda 3 engine?
The Mazda3 with the 2.3L engine has a permanent oil filter cannister with an internal replaceable element (just like most cars had 40 or more years ago). I forget exactly where the cannister is but it is clearly visible from underneath the car. If you have the 2.3L you probably aren't seeing it because you are looking for the typical "spin-off" throw-away type.
Get Some WD40 on the front axle and the back one or check the engine!:P
