Sugar will not turn to sluge or 'cement' in your gas tank. It will however block your fuel injectors and fuel filter. Replace the fuel injectors or clean them and replace your fuel filter. You may have to replace your fuel filter a few times. If you can, take your gas tank out and wash it with water.

It entirely depends on the vehicle's type of engine and the number of cylinders it has.

My 91 rx7 idles at 1000-1200, which i believe is the norm.

no it is hydraulic.dont know what your problem is but check clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder operation,if ok may just be a bad clutch

The spring rates for the 1987 Mazda RX7 are different between the front and rear. On the front, the spring rates are 180 millimeter in length and rated at 12 kilograms per millimeter, while the rear sports 200 millimeter length but 10 kilograms per millimeter.

There is a little clip that needs to be pushed and it generally take a bit of force for the old ones because they stick quite a bit.

You need to check your throttle position sensor to see if it is good should be 1k Ohms at rest and 4k to 6k ohms at WOT if it is anywhere above 6k ohms replace it asap

Coolant temp sensor, or leaky injectors, bad Ecu, weak battery

they are supposed to be very rich by design, they should burn 14 parts of fuel for every one part of Air, get an air/fuel ratio meter and it should read 14:1.any higher than that and you've got problems, leaky injector, incorrect tunning, electrical sensor fault, could be a number of reasons.

Rotary engines are actually really reliable and could be as reliable and more reliable than piston engines if taken care of correctly. The reason people have the thought that rotary engines are bad at breaking are mainly because there are a lot of rotary owners that mistreat their engine. If pistons engined were frequently 1k+ past redline consistently like rotary engines are forced to do, they would break often easily as well.

N/A Carbureted Rotary Engines are the most reliable followed by N/A Fuel Injected Engines. Fuel Injected Turbo Engines are least reliable.

Most N/A Fuel injected Rotary engines last 150k-200k+ when taken care of, Turbo Fuel Injected engines last 125-175k average.

I've seen Rotary engines with over 250k original miles. The most important part is taking care of the engine. It's more vital to keep a rotary well maintained as opposed to a piston engine because piston engines actually still run when they're mistreated.

Here are some tips to help improve engine life and STOP flooding from happening and getting it started if it does.

Ok first of all drain and change the oil every 3000 miles NO MATTER WHAT!!! you also have to check the oil every 2-3 fill ups on gas if its low fill it up with mineral oil NOT SYNTHETIC. That will cause flooding if synthetic is put in. Also you have to run the engine hard so every week run it to redline at least once maybe more if your driving it a lot. If your starting it in the cold make sure to let it warm up 10-15 minutes otherwise that will cause flooding too.

How to start the car if flooding occurs. Make sure you have a battery charger in hand cause this will cause your battery to drain. Okay so get in your car with the vehicle still off then mash the gas and then attempt to turn it over (Hold for 10-15 seconds) MAY TAKE A COUPLE TRIES if it does then congrats but don't turn it off, go for a speed drive with it running at redline and then you can go home. If your vehicle didn't turn over then try again if it doesn't work that time then try turning it over without the gas mashed not even in at all. if it doesn't work that time walk a way and come back later. At last resort take it to the dealer to have them fix it. Oh yeah one more thing don't drive your car out of the garage and then turn it off in your drive way immediately that will cause flooding you have to allow the car to reach running temps otherwise it will cause flooding so NEVER turn it on then back off immediately. Shutting off a cold rotary can cause carbon lock. Which is a chunk of carbon breaking loose and finding a place to wedge itself and "lock" the rotor up. If you leave the car running, pieces of carbon get broken up and burnt. The synthetic oil theory hasn't been proven yet. I'm running synthetic right now to test it and am having no problems. Theory states the the additives in synthetic can build up in the combustion chamber. I'm unaware if flooding can be a result of synthetic.

This is really a stupid question and you should sell your rx7 to someone else who is more informed and able to handle such a car. If your car needs a new coolant seal, it means you have to get the engine torn down (around $1k in labour) and have new internals put in (around $2k for basics, not core).

There are several different types of porting that can be done to a rotary engine. Each shop will port differently but the basic understanding by everyone is that a streetport is a very mild porting of the intake and exhaust ports whereas a Bridgeport is very aggressive. Keep in mind if you want your rotary engine ported it will affect the operation of it. Rotaries have no valves so all of their intake and exhaust timing is controlled by the shape and size of the ports. Generally the larger you go porting the more power you'll have in the top end, but your low end torque and idle will suffer. Generally bridgeporting is only suggested for high boost cars that aren't driven on the street.

The dreaded 3800 RPM hesitation is cause 90% of the time by poor ground connections between the engine, the battery, and the car. Clean or replace all the under hood ground connections. If there is still a problem after that, look at cleaning the fuel injectors and (on a N/A) that your 5th/6th ports are operating correctly.

Usually as a rule only mineral oils . Not synthetics ALTHOUGH there are some which Mazda ok ! Royal purple is one BUT at over $40aud per litre I'll stick with the mineral oil. Till I win lotto lol

yes, but you will notice that it will have MUCH less power and will eventualy need to be rebuilt before it breaks even worse
