Why would you be having two periods in one month at age 42?
I have been researching the answer for myself. Here are a few reasons I have found... 1.Could be normal (I recommend making an appointment with gynecologist anyway) 2.Fluctuating hormone levels 3.Thyroid dysfunction 4.Abnormal thickening of the uterus (could need biopsy) 5.Could have scar tissue (possible Endometriosis) 6.Could have tubal or ectopic pregnancy 7.Could have possible infection 8.Worst case scenario...could have cancer I want to say that I am NOT an expert. Just someone that is experiencing the same symptoms of two periods a month. After researching this issue, this is what I have found. I have scheduled an appointment with my gynecologist to be safe. Is it safe to fly before surgery?
According to information found in airline magazines, flying can contribute to the risk of DVT or deep vein thrombosis. Any sedentary state such as a long car or train ride can have similar risks. Exercises in your seat and getting up to walk around every so often can help. Medical tourism, that is traveling for the purpose of medical care, is on the rise from 500,000 US residents who traveled outside the US for medical care in 2007. Often far less expensive, patients who do their homework can see considerable savings without sacrificing quality care. Specialty insurance that covers Accidents, Sickness, Complications of Surgery and other valuable benefits is available for medical tourists whether they have major medical health insurance or not - so if you are medical tourist and a victim of DVT, there's coverage available that can help.

Can you go through the menopause while on the pill?
Your body produces a variety of hormones throughout the month. The first hormone tells your ovaries to ovulate. Once the egg is released, it is released along with another hormone that tells your body to get ready for a fertilised egg. If no fertilised egg arrives, the uterine lining breaks down and you get a period. As your body starts menopause, two things happen: firstly you stop producing the hormone to tell you to ovulate and secondly your body runs out of eggs to ovulate. If your body doesn't think you've ovulated, you don't get a period. If your body is not producing the hormone naturally, then by giving it synthetic hormones (i.e. the pill) you are artificially tricking your body to think it's ovulated and you will get your period. That is how the Pill works - it prevents ovulation but still still gives the body the hormones it needs to go through the mentrual cycle. Many women use the Pill instead of other types of HRT (hormone replacement therapy) during the first years of peri-menopause so they can regulate their cycles and hormones while still preventing pregnancy (though their chances may be greatly reduced of getting pregnant). You will get your period if your body has the right hormones (natural or synthetic) at the right time, whether you have actually ovulated or not. However, you cannot get pregnant without ovulation.
The word "menopause" means the "end of monthly cycles" a Greek word pausis (cessation) and the root men- (month), because the word "menopause" was created to describe this change in human females, where the end of fertility is traditionally indicated by the permanent stopping of monthly menstruation or menses. Natural menopause occurs when the ovaries naturally begin decreasing their production of the sex hormones estrogen and progesterone. Menopause is not a disease that needs to be cured, but a natural life-stage transition.
Menopause signals the end of fertility. It generally occurs between age of 45-55.
BCP's do not regulate your system, they suppress it using synthetic hormones. This can cause suppression of the Hypothalamus-Pituitary Axis which tells our bodies what hormones to make & when. Taking synthetic hormones over a long period of time can throw your entire system out of whack causing Estrogen or Progesterone deficiencies or dominance long after you discontinue their use. The symptoms of these things can be very problematic for years - depression, fertility issues, mood swings, fatigue, etc.
Some people have problems - some don't - it depends on how long you were on them & how quickly your own body can bounce back.

Its been told that the hyman is located at the opening of the vagina. but from personal experience, the hyman is actually located no more than 3-4inches within a womans vagina. Also, the hyman does not always determine wheather are not a girl is a virgin. The hyman is a delacate layer of skin, which can be torn by doing vigarouse activities, such as bike riding, masterbation with a dildo, doing splits, getting hit near it and etc... So the hyman does not always dtermine virginity. Going back to the persanol experience. My boyfriend and i were having a conversation about my cherry(hyman)being poped. I've never bleed during sexual intercourse and he is the second guy i had have sex with.
