How long after stopping norethisterone will your period come?
It can be anything from 2 to 5 days in my experience, but if you've not had your period then, do a pregnancy test and see your Doctor. I my case, I wasn't pregnant, but is was an existing condition (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) that the Norethisterone wasn't able to "override".
OUR BODIES CHANGE CONSTANTLY, BEST WAY TO FIND OUT WHATS GOING ON IS TO GO TO OB/GYN OR YOUR FAMILY DOCTOR.
No it is not common, nor is it normal you need to see a doctor, you could get become anemic.
Can a 10 year old be put on birth control to lighten periods?
No, it would be considered grossly unethical.
Hormonal birth control should be avoided unless for birth control or to manage serious health conditions, it should not be used for menstrual problems and certainly not for something like lightening flow.
Hormonal birth control works by suppressing your natural hormones in order to suppress the menstrual cycle to stop ovulation, as you no longer ovulate it means that you no longer menstruate. The bleeding women experience on birth control such as the pill is the withdrawal bleed caused by the drop in synthetic hormoneswhen going from active to inactive pills, it's not menstruation. Although withdrawal bleeds can be lighter than menstrual bleeds, there are far more effective and less extreme methods of lightening flow.
By suppressing menstrual cycles hormonal birth control also effects over 150 different bodily functions so effects a person physically, emotionally, mentally, and neurologically. You lose the benefits of your cyclces such as being better able to cope with certain things or having clearer thinking at certain points in your cycle, your immunity is also lowered and you're less able to absorb nutrients from your food while on hormonal birth control. Hormonal birth control has a wide range of side-effects including increased risk of vaginal infections and depression, through to serious risks such as heart attack and stroke. Long-term the pill increases risks of bone health problems and breast cancer, we also don't know the long-term effects of suppressing menstrual cycles in someone going through puberty.
No good doctor should put a woman on hormonal birth controljust to lighten flow, however many do because women want it, it's easier than explaining how it works or other options, easier than investigating underlying problems, or because doctors have financial incentives to prescribe hormonal birth control. It would be especially unethical to prescribe to a 10 year old because there is no way that someone of that age would be educated enough about their bodies or birth control to understand what is could do, or understand possible consequences to be able to make an informed decision about whether or not to use birth control.
Why do you have smelly discharge and excess body hair?
Ok, still me (from the question). I am 13 year old girl and I haven't started my periods yet. I get this smelly, thick-ish, sticky white discharge from my vagina. I am not overweight and I have a pretty healthy diet (I think). I've looked around the internet and it looks like it's some sort of infection. I don't really want to go to the doctors though - bit awkward!!
I also have quite a lot of dark hair on my chest, around my nipples and around my belly button. I might have it on my back but I can't see (but it feels like there is hair there). The stuff on my back however could just be the normal hair you get everywhere but the stuff on my chest etc is not!
COuld they be linked...if not what are they?
Menstrual cycle you use two tampons in one hour you feel weak and dizzy and nauseas what do you do?
If your flow is so heavy that you're going through super or ultra absorbency tampons within an hour then you need to talk to your doctor at some point. If bleeding is very heavy and you're also feeling weak then you're losing too much blood and should consider seeking immediate medical attention. If you're young then tell your guardians what is happening and they can help determine best course of action.
This means that you are obviously going to set the new world record as of how many babys that you will have at the same time. p.s you already have a nasty yeast infection. sorry.
if you want to stop your period from coming tomorrow you cant it lasts up to 2-3 days
Why have you had brown discharge for 7 days when your period is not due for a week?
You could be starting your period early, or have some sort of infection. if you have had unprotected sex, it could also be what is called implantation bleeding. I would recommend calling your dr in case it's an infection. ~pawsalmighty

Should i worry about not starting your period whenon the pink pills?
well it depends, if your pack is mostly pink pills then you should not have your period during this time.. however sometimes you may have some spotting, this is normal... if the pink pills are the lesser amount in your pack then those are you sugar pills.. if you just started taking the pills it may take 2-3 months until you are regular and get your period during them
Is it normal for a 3 year old to urinate once a day?
depends if your child drinks lots then its not normal. But if your child drinks only a little amount of "drink" then it is normal. I'm not an expert on 3-year olds, however, I do know that normal urination in an average person should be every 1-2 hours assuming they are properly hydrated. Urinating once per day sounds like pretty bad dehydration - for anyone. So, right off the bat, I'd be curious as to how much water the child is drinking. To arrive at the proper amount for sufficient hydration, take the child's weight and divide it by 2. The number you come up with is the number of ounces the child should be ingesting. Also, the fluid he should be drinking is WATER - not juice. If a person IS drinking sufficient water (and most do not) and still urinating only once per day, I'd have he/she checked out by a physician urgently. Hope this helps.
How do you know when your pad is full?
Whenever your pad feels heavy. Check it every time you
go to the restroom.
Can a 16 year old girl go months without a period?
Yes, that is quite common. It can be normal due to immaturity of the system or can be from losing weight, stress, or other hormonal problems. If course, it can also be from pregnancy o there is any chance of that then a pregnancy test should be done.
Many women experience light spotting in early pregnancy I would go back to the doctor and ask them to do another pregnancy test by blood and then ask them to do an ultrasound to see what is going on hope everything works out for you Good Luck and God Bless!!!
Hedgehogs are pregnant for 32- 42 days. Average pregnancy lasts about 35 days. 1-10 babies maybe born to Algerian and African Pygmy Hedgehog breeds.
How to measure menstrual blood loss?
You can get a menstrual cup such as a Mooncup which allows you to measure flow exactly. Menstrual cups are an internal menstrual product but safer than tampons so can be worn throughout your period without needing to alternate with pads, without risk of TSS or leaking. Most menstrual cups have measuring points on the side of the cup to allow you to measure flow.
Women in Japan dispose of their used tampons and pads just like women elsehwere in the world - wrap-up in old wrapper, toilet paper, or disposable bags then throw in the bin. They don't use a special way of folding the toilet paper...there is no tampon disposal origami paper crane type situation going on.
