The fuse diagram for my 91 Capri is as fallows: Engine 15A Stop 20A Power Window 30A \ Meter 10A Hazard 15A ------ HTD B-light 20A Cigar 15A Tail 15A IG Relay Room 10A door lock 30A Audio 15A \ Fog Lamp 20A Air Cond 15A ----- \ Cooling Fan 20A Wiper 20A Heater 30A The IG Relay and the Heater are the big ones on the side of the fuse box.

Its on the door panel next to the door handle. at least that's where it is on my 1992 190e 2.3

Different - L needs to be on L side (they are mirror images). Make sure you test the motor before replacing it though... pretty expensive even used.

The Mercury Capri came from the factory with the wrong altenator pulley that does not seat the belt properly. Ford offered a replacement pulley with the proper specs. Contact your local Ford dealer and see if they still have any pulleys available. Replace the pulley and put a good quality belt on and that should fix your problem.THIS IS BECKY I CONTACTED FORDS PERSANAL SIT. THEY HAVE CONVENATLEY DISSCONTENUED THIS POLLY. i have a 91 i imagine that it wouldn't be much different first i removed the passenger front wheel and then i removed that part of the air dam and right up inside you can see the alternator. from the top its a tight sqeeze but take the top bolt on the alternator off and take the belt off then go underneath and remove the bottom bolt and then remove the clip on the backside of the alternator. next, remove the tubes and any other things that might get in you're way then just pull it out of the top. installation is reverse of removal just drop it down in there and reconnect all of the tubes in the same order and put it in and make sure you have the belt tight

the water pump is behind the timing belt if you know what your doing it is a tough job and takes about 6 hours to do , if you don't know about timing the engine and putting a timing belt on you should get a macanic , cause the water pump is in a bad spot on this one

This is a difficult job. The front spindle assemblies must be removed. Then the assembly is pressed apart and the rotars are unbolted from the back. I tried this without proper tools and bought new bearings in the end. If you are mechanically inclined its probably better to remove the assemblies and take to dealer.

look under the dash on drivers side they may have tucked it up near the fire wall you may have to take off trim pieces or it may be in the glove box. The interior fuse box is below and to the left of the sterring column. There is also a fuse block by the battery under the hood.
