I don't know much about depakote, but unless this nine year old weighs about 300 pounds, 30mg of daytrana is FAR too much. Im 18 years old, 5'8 and around 160, and even 20 mg for me is too much- i went down to 15. Daytrana is a patch, so it delivers the drug (Ritalin; a stimulant almost congruent to amphetamine) directly into the blood. Even though it is in a controlled amount ( 1-4 mg per hour), the effects of Daytrana are more noticeable and intense than pretty much any other kind of Ritalin. I don't know this 9 year old kid, but i know that Ritalin affects everyone in almost the same way, and 30 mg in a patch-form is extremely high. A good alternative to daytrana is concerta, in which the 36 mg dose would be more than safe for this kid. 30 mg daytrana patches have about 80 mg of Ritalin on them, so if he accidentally left it on for too long, it could get dangerous.

2) If aspirin (which is in Equate Extra Strength Headache relief) is used for even one week, the thyroid hormones they are looking for on tests (T3, T4 - both total and free, and TSH) will be lower. So, taking aspirin may not interfere with your thyroid medication, but it does interfere with how your thyroid is performing.

It should be noted that in some thyroid patients, specifically, those who have a normal thyroid except for low T3 or T4, taking thyroid hormones with acetaminophen can set you up for liver damage.

Maybe you need to find a different group to belong to, or people that are more like you are. It is good to feel independent sometimes. Not belonging, generally is a feeling that doesn't stay to long. It comes once in a while when you feel depressed or sad, but evetually goes away when you win your day.

You should really find out more about yourself and explore your thoughts, what you defend, build up ideas, and listen to other peoples ideas, so that there can be discussion and development, because it is nice to sometimes have different ideas about a certain issue. Like this you will find yourself more confident around other people because you accept yourself and you accept everything that surrounds you even if they aren't like you, making you feel less depressed, and finally you actually fell that you belong there, because you realized that you don't need to be like others to belong.
