They could be checking for any tissue that was not expelled during the miscarriage. They may be able to tell that you were pregnant depending on how long ago the miscarriage happened, and if anything was left behind.

Doxycycline should not be used during pregnancy. Tetracycline can damage developing teeth during the last half of pregnancy. If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, inform your doctor immediately. Tetracyclines such as doxycycline appear in breast milk and can affect a nursing infant. If Doxycycline hyclate is essential to your health, your doctor may advise you to discontinue breastfeeding until your treatment is finished.

So it sounds like it can harm the fetus growth but not make you miscarry.

If you have RH- factor, When you give birth or have a miscarriage you need to be administered the RH shot immediately. If you received the shot after the miscarriage or birth you should be fine and the likelihood of miscarriage due to the Rh factor is minor. If you miscarry again you should probably check with your doctor so they can see if there is another possible cause. If you did not receive the shot for the RH factor the liklihood of miscarriage would be greater if your blood type is RH -.

It probably depends on how late your period was and if you have a regular or irregular cycle on your period. If you have a regular cycle every month and you were late, I wouldn't rule out a miscarraige. Depending on how many periods you have missed you should consider going to a doctor to make sure a D&C is not required if it was a miscarraige. If you have irregular cycles and miss periods on a regular basis consider going to a doctor just to be checked out. Heavy bleeding can be caused by other medical problems (ie: Cysts, Endomytreosis).

i think y u see blood 4 days before ur peirod is because its tellign u that ur about to have one and that ur ready to have one. now id be happy to see blood because some people get surgry if they don't get a period because it marks that ur ready to have a baby i mean not that ur gonna have one at that moment but that if u were older and ready to have a bab y u could.

i'm in the same boat as all you girls. Im 9 days late and i just did my HPT yday, which came out negative. Prior to this, I guess I have done about 8-9 HPT test from the first day I missed my menses. Im having all kinds of symptoms like bloatedness, thirsty, feel lethargic and nausea. My menses normally come on time every month and I am seldom late. My dh says I am exaggerating all the symptoms and it's just driving me crazy as i keep thinking about this and kept doing HPTs. Should i see the doctor to do a blood test ? Or is it too early to tell that Im pregnant ?

If Abortion is definitely the route you wish to take you must do it in the safest way for yourself and your body. Consult your doctor first and you will find most extremely sympathetic. They will see how far gone you are and how certain that this is the choice you wish to stick by, and let you know who you need to contact.

I nearly took this route a few weeks ago, I decided to go ahead with the pregnancy in the end, but obviously you have to do what is right for you, and the people I spoke to at the abortion clinic were wonderful and put me at ease.

I wish you every love and luck with whatever you choose, but please don't do anything silly and endanger your life or chances of having kids later on, self miscarriages usually either end up in death or end up with the pregnancy remaining with abnormalities for the child, I know this as my mother and aunt are both nurses, have been for many many years and they have seen botched abortions and self induced miscarriages, and you deserve so much more than that. 5-6 weeks, ultrasound machine quality and technician experience have alot to do with it also, if you are having your hcg levels checked between 1000 and 2000 is typically when the pregnancy is visible

Hi i had a bighted ovum in February of this year, i was approximately 10 weeks when we discovered. The doctor advised me to wait 3 months after the D&C before trying again. We began trying in May this year and i am now six weeks pregnant with high HCG levels and a heart beat. I have a friend who took 6 months after a blighted ovum and another friend who fell pregnant within two months of miscarriage.

The answer to this is yes and you will be looked after with more care than a woman half your age with no previous history of any miscarriages. You would of been looked after with greater attention being 38 but also having previous miscarriage makes you even more a priority. Please do not worry as people still have successful pregnancies at your age with miscarriages.

Yes, please take her to the hospital that's how my first miscarriage occured. She should go immediately you don't want any scarring in her uterus. B/c of the cramping she should definitily go to the er
