The World Wildlife Fund works to protect the environment to ensure the survival of animals.They focus on animals that are endangered species and environments that are at risk of becoming too polluted to support animal and plant life. They do this by trying to prevent pollution, destruction of natural habit for farming, building land or industry. One of the many projects that they are undertaking is the tracking of the leather back turtle, working to reduce the numbers of turtles killed when accidentally caught by large fishing vessels.

Cygwin is a Unix like environment that runs on top of windows, in particular it allows us to use the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) to compile our programs.

The World Wide Web Consortium, otherwise known as W3C, is the international standards authority for the World Wide Web. It currently has 379 members and is run by the founder, Tim Berners-Lee at MIT.

In general, when you place items in the trash and that trash is in a public area for pickup, anyone can go through that trash at any time. Trash bins and dumpsters are generally placed on a public right of way for collection, i.e. a sidewalk or street. This means that the trash is no longer on your property and you can no longer control who has access to it. Similarly, items that are placed in the common area of an apartment or condo complex are no longer the private property of the person who placed them there. Anyone in the complex can take those items if they choose. If you want to avoid having others see what you are placing into the trash, your best bet is to wait until just before the trash collector arrives to put your trash out. To protect yourself from identity theft, shred documents that contain sensitive information before placing them in the trash.

A supervisor is expected to know what the employees are doing and able to redirect their actions if necessary. There fore the supervisor is, in general, responsible for the actions of employees. There is always the situation called "uncontrollable misconduct" where an employee does something the supervisor cannot be expected to have been able to prevent - then the supervisor is not considered to be responsible. In may cases, the supervisor's responsibility is as a management representative and ans not a personal responsibility but responsibility imputed to the company.
