Can you just add sausage to spaghetti sauce without browning it first of par boiling?
No. The sausage will only partially cook, and therefore would be dangerous to eat. For maximum flavour you should fry the sausages until they are almost done, and them add them to the sauce
First of all, the question I think you meant to ask was "Does parsley go in spaghetti?" and the answer is that it can if you like parsley.

How many calories in dry pasta?
Generally about 200 calories per serving, which is pretty much the same as with cooked pasta.
Can you make ravioli from shop bought fresh pasta?
If the pasta is fresh enough and has enough elasticity, it should work.
You'll want to be sure not to over-stuff the raviolis, and you may want to use a fairly thick egg wash instead of water or nothing when crimping the edges, and crimp them pretty aggressively with a fork or crimping roller, to make sure they stay sealed. The egg wash will act as a glue, and the stronger crimping will help the past edges to fuse at the seam.
Why does pasta increase in calories when cooked?
I had a similar question asked to me by someone counting their calories. The problem was this:
They had a 250g bag of pasta. The nutrition label gave 100grams of uncooked pasta (therefore, half a pack was 125grams). The label also gave the value for half a pack of cooked pasta which was 190 grams. The calories in 100gram uncooked was 172kcal, while half a pack of cooked jumped massively to 326kcal. Why?
A quick mathematical look at this clearly showed that half a pack of uncooked pasta did not have the same amount of calories as the cooked pasta.
So why is cooking pasta increasing calories, does water magically add water?
A couple of weeks later, and luckily, we were eventually given information (that was at least believable) from a trainee medical student... They said that if you eat raw uncooked pasta, there is a lot of calories and nutrition that are not digestible by the human body. In other words, they go straight through your body. When you cook pasta and other carb-dense foods like rice and couscous, it alters the chemical makeup of the food (it kind of unlocks the remaining 'invisible' nutrition) and makes the previously undigestible nutrition available for the body to absorb.
'Hope that helps :)
In IL. Walmart and Krogers BUT they have changed the packaging so you might miss them!
How many people can be served from 1.5 pounds of pasta?
Most "official" U.S. sources will tell you that a serving size of pasta for a single adult is 1/2 cup (4 oz.) So, your 1.5 pounds would serve 6 people, according to those sources (USDA, American Diabetes Association, etc.)
The true answer to your question is that it will depend upon the appetites of those you are feeding and the amount of other dishes you serve along with the pasta.
Does homemade or store bought spaghetti sauce have more acid and why?
store bought due to the jarring and canning processes, unless you use canned tomatoes then both will have about the same. however jarred and canned spaghetti sauce is healthieer for you because the canning and jarring processes cause the tomatoes to have more lycopen, which is very healthy and needed for your heart.

This endearing pasta shape looks like a twisted up piece of rag of towel. One might have used to wrap around a neck I suppose.
Yikes. Although the name is a little intimidating it happens to be a very unique and creative pasta shape for you to use with all your Italian pasta recipes.
I use acini di pepe pasta to make a cold fruit type pasta. The package I use is made by DaVinci, of Italy. Is is made of 100 % durum wheat semolina, what ever duram wheat is. Didn't look that up. The pasta is a really tiny circular macaroni type stuff, about 1/4th of an inch in length, with a hold about the size of a pin. Adding to boiling water, it takes 4-6 minutes to cook, so not a very sizeable item. Good to stretch a fruit salad.

Tonnarelli (or spaghetti alla chitarra) is an egg pasta. Are presented as a "square" cut and it's large about 2-3 mm and thick about the same. The permeable consistency allows the sauce to adhere completely.
Named after the guitar-like device used to cut the pasta, which has a wooden frame strung with metal wires, sheets of pasta are pressed down onto the device, and then the wires are "strummed" so the slivers of pasta fall through.
In Puglia they call them troccoli from the Deliceto vernacular.

Check the ingredient on the label of your muesli and yoghurt (well, all your food actually) make sure they do not contain much sugar (and also High fructose corn syrup, aspartame, acesulfame-k). High sugar = fat The ingredient list is put in order from Highest to lowest content. So if the sugar comes in the first few of the ingredient, it has quite alot of it. First make sure your dairy milk and yoghurt is not homogenized. Even better if it is not pasteurised. Get raw milk and yoghurt if you can find them in your local organic store. The main importance is the dairy is not UHT or homogenized and it is certified organic. When you discard the above i mentioned, generally substituting bread pasta or rice that you get from supermarket with muesli yoghurt and nuts is overall better for your health because you will avoid the refined, whitened, bleached flour products. However, wholegrain bread, pasta and wholegrain rice are very good food as well. And you can only find these genuine food in your local organic store. You might want to eat different food on alternate day to expose yourself to variety of nutrients. Going back to your question :P , yes there is a good possibility that you will lose weight. But don't let your body get too hungry at night because you reduce your food intake. Make sure your yoghurt contain LIVE bacteria to get the benefit of yoghurt. Bare in mind, balanced diet and good exercise can not be separated to achieve ideal weight for you! and your health! For more information go to Mercola dot com
