For the love of god, do NOT rent a DVD and expect to learn much of anything unless you are taking classes from a trained professional. Bellydance is fun but it is far from easy and if done incorrectly, you can rip abdominal muscles or just generally do it sloppy and look like an idiot when you try to dance publicly. I could show you some examples on YouTube of people who saw one DVD and suddenly think they are bellydancers.... At any rate, find an accredited bellydance school in your area. There are many of them, as bellydance is becoming popular for exercise, core strengthening, and many other physical benefits. Remember, TRUE bellydance is Rated G! There may be undulations and shimmies but it is NOT stripping and you'll NEVER do anything unladylike....

first, you get a treat. if your dog bites you when you hold or touch its paws, make sure it has a toy in its mouth. show your dog the treat, and pat your upper chest/neck area. your dog should jump up. grab its paws and walk back and forth. once the dog has it down, you should be able to just pat your chest and dance with it.
