Among many things, Baron de Montesquieu is most famous for believing in the separation of powers, which is the basis of most democratic governments today, such as the United Kingdom and United States.

Ceremonially, the prime minister is appointed by the sovereign. However, in reality, the prime minister is indirectly selected by the voters. The voters determine who sits in Parliament. The Prime Minister must be able to lead parliament, that is control half the votes in Parliament.

Democracy is a system of governance ruled by the majority of those it governs. The first act of democracy probably happened long ago within a small group of people who raised their hands to vote on a proposal, only IF any of them could have been the one who made the proposal.

A constitutional monarchy is better than a strict monarchy in many different ways. With a constitutional monarchy, the king or queen does not have unlimited power and must still follow the constitution. This gives the citizens more rights and limits the monarchys power.

Pure communism is simply a reference to the way communism was theoretically laid out by Karl Marx (who saw its occurrence as an inevitability). Communism generally refers, in common usage, to states in the last century who claimed to be communist, such as the USSR.

A Dictatorship is a country, government, or the form of government in which absolute power is exercised by one person. A democracy is basically power to the people. In a dictatorship one person rules all but in a democracy people rule the people.

Communism is widely perceived by many people as bad, even though they do not know the true concepts of the political idea. Communism aims for a society without social classes, a society where everyone is equal and everyone earns as much as each other and that no body is superior to anyone else.

Many people use examples such as the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China to portray communism as bad and undemocratic, however, a Communist society really comes down to the source. Who runs it.

If a Communist leader spent the country's money on armed forces and nuclear weapons, instead of healthcare and education, of course the country is going to go into ruin, just as if a Capitalist country done so, because they have no consideration for the people's welfare and the needs of society, however, if the leader did use the people's money on healthcare and other social needs and turned a blind eye to the military, the country will be on a path to success, most likely becoming a peaceful and wealthy communist state.

Also, even though this may seem highly arguable, a Communist state still has to have some sort of leader or committee in charge of the country, even if it does contradict their aims to achieve an equal society, because otherwise, who will deal with the country's economy and politics and who will, most importantly, represent the country?

So the answer to this question is:

Communism is not bad, but it greatly depends on who is in charge of the country.

According to James Madison, the difference between a democracy and a republic is that a democracy is a government ruled by the people and a republic is a country that is owned by the people. James Madison was one of the writers of the Declaration of Independence.

Pro: Fast decision making (the decision does not need to pass through many layers of parliament)

Pro: Cheaper (no need to pay for elections)

Pro: Fast disaster releif (the dictator can tell people where to live)

Pro: one guy calls the shots

Con: That one guy could be an idiot or worse

Socialism and Communism are the same: a classless stateless society based on production for use and democratic control. Capitalism in contrast is based on ownership of the means of production by the capitalist class, wages system and production for sale.

In a democracy, the people are sovereign. That is, they decide through their laws what their governments may or may not do. Individual citizens exercise this sovereignty through elections, petitions, and plebiscites (propositions or direct legislation).

Third parties make the political system more democratic by offering more choices. America has become a two-party system with third parties struggling to even get on the ballot in most states. A strong third party, which addresses a specific issue or platform, would force the two dominant parties to expand their platform to include these issues in an effort to compete with the third party.

Contaray to public belief, communism technicaly doesn't exist. By definition, communism is the final stage of socialism where government seizes to exist. Many countries in Africa have no government, but this isn't communsim because that isn't n-government by design it is by civil war or war. But China, Vietnam, Cuba, and Korea claim to be communist but they are really Socialist.

Most of the world's democracies are in the Eastern Hemisphere, such as the majority of European nations, several African and Middle Eastern nations, India, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and Mongolia.

A governme that is legitimate, of course.

The world - including all of observable reality - as it is today is explained by several theoretical models:

- The Big Bang theory explains the large scale structure of the cosmos as it is today.
- The Kant nebular hypothesis describes the formation of stars and planets.
- Plate tectonics describes the development of large scale geological features of Earth.
- Abiogenesis provides candidate explanations for the origin of life on Earth.
- Evolutionary theory explains the development of the diversity of life today.

There are various models which I've not included, not because they're not relevant, but because they're basically either part of or fundamental to the above models or tributaries to them: quantum mechanics, atomic theory, relativity theory, etc.

Representative democracy is a democracy where the people choose a representative to represent them in the government. This representative will then vote for the things the people he represents want.

Communism means no countries and no economy. The resources of the planet belong to everyone and are used to meet human need. It will have to be a worldwide system with no national boundaries. Also there will be no money and no prices, with people having free access to goods and services.

There is a huge difference because "Communism" was not a philosophy of Plato.

Plato wrote "The Republic" in which was a philosophy of unity and power of the people.

The Communist philosophy was started way later by Karl Max around the 1800s.
