There are several power distribution boxes under the hood on the fender wells. I am not sure but there may be one under the dash on the drivers side.

For 1999 - 2005 models: There's definitely one on driver's side under the hood. (There may be more.) There are two separate interior panels located on each end of the dash. You will have to open either the driver's or front passenger door to access them.

The radio unit will need the security code If you disconnect the battery from your vehicle. The radio will reset, thinking it was stolen out of the car, and will require the security code before it will work again.

your 6.6 is either a 403 cu in (most likely) of if its a 4 speed it may be a 400 cu in.... either way, the 403 in the 1979 is a whopping 185 ponies and 235 getty up's in the 400... Yours should be the very similar Good luck

The switch is just above the lower console just above the ash tray and under the air and heat controls. The traction control assembly is mounted just behind the battery under the hood . It has 3 cables; throttle, cruse and throttle body. It is a servo that has a clutch that disengages when wheel spin is detected by sensors on the axel a left and right rotors.

The Passlock security system is the problem. Should be recalled. Go here http://newrockies.com/?ap_id=craigpeate for a module to bypass the system completely. The resistor workaround at the key isn't always the only problem. I tried it on my 99 Suburban and it didn't do any better with the resister bypass. You need to eliminate the entire security system. Buy the pro module for $179 plus shipping and save yourself the hassle of dealing with it ever again. Or you could go to the dealer and have them replace the entire system for over $1000. They will have to replace the key/tumbler/hall effect switch/wiring and EVO-Passlock module to get it right. Check out my profile page for a list of vehicles affected.

there is a problem with the vats system, start there.

mine did it i got a website on how to disable it on ls1.com i think but you have to get a another key from the dealership mine was 5 bucks underneath the dash was a orange wire i had to cut tape that key making sure that resistor chip was touching both sides started right up after that been two years still works perfect but security light will stay on the website has detailed instructions with pics look up vats disable in the search if its not onls1.com that's the cheap way of doing it

you don't fix the chain you replace it with a new one.

It will bolt right up as long as the 350 is out of a 4x4 itself.

4x4 transmissions center shafts are longer then a 2-wheel drive transmissions.

THE SHAFTS HAVE TO BE LONGER FOR THE TRANSFUR CASES TO SLIDE ONTO.

310 for the LS1, 325 for the Ram Air (WS6) models.

check for a burnt out bulb and if all the bulbs light it's possible you need a new turn signal flasher.

on my 93 Saturn the pin the connects the arm from the motor to the actual lamp fell out if raise the light up and take off the plasic guard you should be able to see the arm look to see if it is attached.

Yes... in 1980 and 1981, you could get a 5.0 (305 chevy) motor in your T/A. So all you need to do is locate a shaker scoop with it's airbase and lid ...that was removed from a 5.0 motor. They can be found on e-bay as a complete set. If your car is an early model, you may have to drill out the scoop rivets and switch the later style out with the earlier style.

Open the hood and on the top of the headlight assembly there should be two pins. Turn them so they face the front of the truck and pull them up and out. Now you should be able to pull the whole headlight assembly out. Turn the ring on the back of the headlight ,unplug it and pull the headlight out. Install in reverse order.

Another simple way is the pcv valve is in the oil filler cap on the drivers side valve cover, as opposed to in the valley pan. 4 Round exhaust ports on the SD. Cylinder head code 16 (on center exhaust ports) Large distributor hole. LS2 ('73) or LS2X ('74) cast on intake manifold. Two letter stamped code on front of block would be one of the following: XD,JZ,W8,Y8
