Well it depends on the test. When a woman gets pregnant she produces certain hormones which are found the urine. The pregnancies tests have monoclonal antibodies which connent to those hormones and ''detect'' them. The sensitivity of the test lies on the quality of those monoclonal antibodies. The more specific those antibodies are, the more sensitive is the test. Actually i think there are some tests which can be taken from the first ''delay'' day of normal menstruation, but i don't know how accurate they are. Hope i helped u. Bye

I was 9 1/2 weeks pregnant with my first child before they found out I was pregnant. Urine pregnancy tests does not work on me. It was that way with my son, too. But they did a blood test on my at 4 weeks to tell if I was pregnant.

3 weeks would b the best time to wait basically a week after your missed period....

You certainly could be, but with two negatives, my guess would be that you are not pregnant. If the discharge is unusual for you, it may mean that you have an infection of some sort. You should be checked by a doctor, if possible. At the very least, you should go to www.webmd.com and look up 'vaginal discharge.' You can also go to a search engine (google.com, yahoo.com, etc) and do a search on that to see what you come up with.

by then you should already know... you should be able to see the belly...but a test will still be positive.

You're not showing by 2 months, by the third or fourth month you can start to see growth. And of course in some women this may be earlier or later. We are all different but I can assure you that most are not showing by the second month.

Probably not, but there is a small possibility. You should go see a doctor to find out for sure if you are pregnant or not and to get your periods started again if you aren't pregnant. It's not usually healthy for a women not to have her period.

What may have happened is that you have miscarried during your 5 day bleed and some of the hormone is still circulating in your bloodstream and passing into your urine. If in another month a test is still positive, go back to your doctor as it may be that you are pregnant again but at this stage it is too small to be seen on ultrasound. Good Luck

Conception take place a few days after intercourse and you don't really know when. To prevent pregnancy after sex you can take the morning after pill up to 5 days/120 hours after but once you are pregnant only abortion will stop it. You then have to see a doctor for abortion.

It can be. Pregnancy tests are more accurate in the morning, for the hormones have time to build in the bladder before they are released. If the test is positive it is probably accurate, but if the test is negative it MAY not be. Test again in the morning.

i agree with the other answers, most likely not, but it is still possible, i went through 3 or 4 home pregnancy tests after my missed period, started a week late, and still ended up being 2 months pregnant.

Yes, it is possible. It happened to my best friend as well as bleeding. She took three home tests, then one at the doctors...all came back negative. Two weeks later she took another one which came back positive. Went to the doctor next day, had a scan which showed she was two months pregnant. So yes it is possible though it isn't that common.

I just want to agree with this person above. I took four tests and the doctor's test. I was planning for a baby took one two weeks after trying, then waited another week, then another, then another. After that I still wasn't the doctor was going to test me to see when ovulation would occur for me for the best time. When doing that he does a test there to be sure I wasn't pregnant, they all do it. That came back negative. He went to check to see if I had released an egg yet with an ultrasound, and there was my daughter at 5 1/2 weeks.

I just wanted to add that there are a lot of women who register a low HCG count initially and this causes a false negative reading, so if you think youmight be pregnan don't rely entirely on the test results before modifying your lifestyle as if you were indeed confirmed pregnant. If you still feel pregnant and/or your period hasn't come, it's imperative that you take the best possible care of yourself. Te first trimester is the most sensetive time for a developing baby. Eat well, don't drink alcohol or use drugs, even prescriptions meds that are contraindicated in pregnancy if there is even the chance that you are pregnant, despite test results. And see a doctor for an ultrasound if you still have not had a period after two months, esp. if you are having pregnancy symptoms.

you could defineatly still be pregnant,all depends on how early you tested there might not of been enough hcg 4 the tests to detect,even those early response ones can be wrong as they have been for me in the past,just wait till your really late and try again.with my first baby i was 2 week late before i got a positive result.

Clear urine simply means that you have drank extra water or fluid, and then it came out in your pee. It's actually healthier to have clearer urine, not dark or yellow. Being pregnant should not change the color of your urine, and clear urine does not indicate whether or not you are pregnant.

Take a pregnancy test no sooner than 10 days after sex.

Some pregnancy tests will start to show a positive after just 7-10 days. If you want to know, you can try it. If the test shows positive - then you are pregnant. If it is negative - it is possible you are pregnant but the HCG in your urine is not enough yet. You can wait and re-test in a week's time. A blood test done at the doctors will be able to tell this early. The other problem is that many pregnancies "spontaneously" abort this early. Unsuspecting mothers just thing that it is a heavy period, or just a couple of days late.

I'm writing from personal experience here so, I believe you should wait til you are 1 week late on your period. If you are one week late than you should take a home pregnancy test if that comes back positive than make an appointment with your O.B.GYN. Hope things turn out good!!!!!!!!!!
