Listening barriers are environmental or mental aspects that are present in a situation that may prevent someone from correctly hearing what is being presented.

The signal is changed to dc in the AGC circuit to change the gain. A weak signal

will increase gain.

All US-registered commercial broadcasting stations have 4-letter station identifiers or "call signs" assigned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Identifiers beginning with "W" are located east of the Mississippi river; stations with call signs beginning with "K" are west of the Mississippi.

Stations can request specific call signs, if these are not already in use, but there's no assurance that the FCC will issue the desired call sign. The call sign KYKC is in the western half of the nation; no other meaning can be inferred just from the call sign.

A Google search turns up KYKC as a country music radio station in Chickasaw County, Oklahoma, and owned by the Chickasaw Nation tribe of Native American indians.

"FM" refers to the means by which information is impressed on an RF carrier wave.

The form in which the information is coded or packaged doesn't matter.

FM commercial broadcasting between 88 and 108 MHz stil packages the information

in analog form. Although the technology to do it digitally is reliable and well developed,

any wholesale switch ... like what happened with digital TV ... would leave possibly as

many as a quarter-billion FM radios out in the cold. So any switchover to digital FM is

sure to be a gradual process.

Some people claim to find 5 digit radio codes inside the glove box, inside the drivers door, in the owners manual...but I didn't finds any codes pasted anywhere.

I needed to locate the serial number of my unit and go to my Honda dealer with proof of ownership. It is on a sticker at the bottom of the radio about 2 inches back of the face place of the radio.

To pull out enough to read the serial number:

Remove the glove box screws and set glove box aside. Starting with the screw facing the door on the passenger side of the dash, remove the rest of the screws and pull to release tabs. Remove the small trim piece at the bottom of the center stack (4 screws). With these trim pieces pulled away, the hidden screws in the center stack are revealed. Unscrew these along with the visible screws. Remove the screws in the trim piece above the drivers knees, and pull away. Remove hidden screws from center stack trim and pull away. Uncouple the connecting harness for the cigarette lighter and climate controls. The center stack cover can pull away. Like the other trim pieces, it may require a pull. The radio is connected by Phillips screws approx an inch back from the front, approximately the middle of the unit. There is an access hole to remove the screws on both sides. Pull out to read serial number, a second person with a flash light helps.

Any Jaguar Dealership should be able to get the code for you, but they will probably make a charge to do so, and they will probably want to see documents to prove that you own the car (and therefore the radio in it) to show that you are not dealing with a stolen radio from someone elses car.

The station with 107.1 MHz would have the longer wavelength.

There is another fuse box (all minifuses) located under the dash on the drivers side, there is a 20 amp fuse that works both the radio and lighter there

The new (05-07) superduties are a bit different then the old ones and will require the whole dash to be removed. It ain't pretty, and it can be difficult if you don't know what you are doing. However, I found a nice guide that will help. Well darling accidents do happen.....it depends in which state you are in... I do believe in most states, they can sue your parents for liable damage. Of course your parents insurance will go up higher. Also it depends on how the police will handle as well. Maybe your parents and the person can come to an agreement of not involing the insurance and police and pay for the damage. As for you.. it is up to your parents. Now that is in most states. You can however contact your local police department not (911) and tell them you have an general question that needs to be answered. I hope I have answered your question.

Will the radio work when you turn your key to Accessories?If not, unplug the larger connector on your remote starter box.The one with 5 wires- 2 larger red wires,1 large yellow wire and etc.This provides voltage to the radio and such when the remote starter starts the car.If you remove this connector and things work the remote unit has a bad relay or is dragging down the voltage. If it doesn't work, check your fuses in your vehicle.
