When a question has the word "following" in it, it means that there's a list
of choices right after that. The list is supposed to be a part of the question,
and the answer is supposed to come from the choices on the list. You've
neglected to include the list, so I don't know what my choices are for an answer.

MY 2003 Kia Spectra radio says hold how do you fix it?
The Kia Radio says hold because an improper activation code has been entered 3 times. The way to fix the issue is to: 1. Loosen the positive battery cable and disconnect it for about 3 minutes 2. Reconnect the battery cable and secure it 3. Turn the key on, not the engine until the radio lights up and it will ask for a code 4. refer to your owners manual, it IS printed in the manual. very hard to find on my 2002 kia spectra but it was in there. 5. use the radio buttons to input the correct code 6. The HOLD and CODE commands on the radio will disappear and you will have to re-program your stations. ============================================= As a theft deterrent, anytime the radio looses power (i.e. the battery is disconnected), it requires a 4-digit code to reactivate it. If the code is entered wrong 3 times, the word "HOLD" will appear on the screen. To fix it, wait one hour with the battery connected, the radio turned on, and the ignition key in the ACC position. When the word "CODE" reappears, enter the correct 4-digit security code using the radio preset buttons; From pages 9 and 10 of the "Audio Owner's Manual": For the first digit, press preset 1 a sufficient number of times for the correct number to appear. For the second digit, press preset 2 a sufficient number of times. For digit 3, press preset 3, for digit 4, press preset 4. If the correct code is not displayed, repeat the steps until it is. When the correct code is displayed, press the SEL button once. If the system is still locked, repeat these steps. I had debated including the default security code here, but seeing as the stock radio is not even worth the effort to steal it, it is "1111"
How do you connect a usb sound card to a stereo for Internet radio?
The sound card takes data from the computer ... which came from the internet ...
makes sound from the data, and sends the sound back to the computer so that
you can listen to it through the computer's speakers or earphone jack.
The place you want to connect to the stereo is one of the little jacks on the computer
that's marked for either earphones or "line out".
The only problem you'll have is a minor one ... getting a cable made up with
the right kind of plugs on it, to fit the computer's output jack at one end and
the stereo's input jacks at the other end.
Is a prairie home companion funny?
The answer is in the ear of the beholder.
If you think it is, then it is. Doesn't matter
what anybody else thinks.
Does a car radio work without a ground?
No, but they are sometimes grounded via frame vs wire.
Most car radios use negative as common with ground. But caution should be taken therefore make reference to the manual before installation. This is because some radios have a low resistance on the wire marked negative which affects operation of the radio and results in impaired output.

Why would the radio and dome light fuse keep blowing in a 94 Spirit?
A reason not obvious could be the trunk light bulb which is on the same circuit. We had a case where the bulb looked good, but the filament was loose and would sometimes connect ok and sometimes short. The only case where the fuse would blow was when you opend the trunk AND the filament decided to short. Prior to diagnosing this, the dealer told us it was the radio which we had removed, but which didn't solve the problem. or at least rules out another part of the puzzle.

Which of the following best explains why television began replacing radio by the 1950s?
Televisions became more affordable.
At the present time (April 2013), in different parts of the USA, Canada, and Mexico,
there are a total of 319 FM radio stations broadcasting on 103.5 MHz.
So, instead of asking "Where is the station located ?", the real question is "Where are
you located ?", because the answer to that one determines which 103.5 you'll hear
on your radio.
