It depends on the year and how your drive it, but my P38 returns 12 city and 17 highway and my L322 returns 14 city and 18 highway.... my 2000 range rover hse 4.6 get just about 12 around town,but on highway iam getting near 20 miles a gallon if i keep it at 55 to 60 miles an hour,i just had my plugs and wires newly replaced,most the time when iam done my long trip i will get a bit over 18 miles a gallon,because i just cant keep going 60 mph the whole way!

no they are different. It will fit the same, however a series 3 land rover has syncromesh on all gears whereas a series 2a only has syncromesh on 3rd and 4th.

The diagram for the fuse and relays are on the back side of the hinged dropdown panel located under the steering wheel. There are two quarter turn screws that hold the panel closed. The other fuse/relay diagram is under the fusebox cover in the engine compartment. There are other relays located under the inside rightside (passenger) kickpanel. I suggest you purchase a LR disc for your model and year. I bought mine on eBay for around $15. The books are not as good and sometimes speak of items related to British models and can be confusing.

Open the Hood, if you looking at the engine, on the passenger side of the plastic cover OF THE ENGINE, not the engine bay, there is a cap with yellow writing, looking like an oil container. Unscrew it and pour oil in the engine. Check the dipstick periodically so that you don't overfill it.

yes you can . i run a1996 p38 on it for the last 2 months and covered 2500 miles with no problems .if your RR gets sluggish change the fuel filter .i now use 100 percent bio now.

And maybe the person who posted this answer will come back and tell you how much they spent on repairs when they found out the hard way that biodiesel will clog your injectors and fuel lines, and destroy your fuel pump. There is a method to properly convert a ULSD motor to biodiesel... you have to replace the fuel pump, fuel lines, and injectors. Biodiesel is much thicker than ULSD.
