When descending a steep hill in a vehicle a good safe driving practice is to?

While keeping a low speed on a steep hill is crucial to making it safely to the bottom, particularly if the road features multiple curves or turns, it is equally as important not to burn out your brakes in the process. Don't overaccelerate, and force your car into a lower gear if at all possible (this is easy in a manual car). "Riding" your brakes will cause them to overheat, and they may ultimately fail. If you are in traffic, it is also important to keep a wider than average distance from the vehicle in front of you. This will give you plenty of room to recover, dorrect or avoid a possible collision.

Simply they call it Driving Phobia or Fear of Driving. I don't believe a latin prefix has been designated to it such as amaxophobia(fear of riding in a car), motorphobia(fear of automobiles), tachophobia(fear of speed).

Driving fear can make life very difficult for individuals who have to commute to work every day or those who rely on daily driving. People who suffer from a fear of driving are likely to avoid traveling whenever possible and may develop a phobia of getting behind the wheel.

There are several reasons why fear of driving can occur. For many it is caused by generalized or situational anxiety that is triggered by the stress of driving itself. For others it can be the memories of past car accident or similar event or trauma that can cause fear. Still others can have a specific driving phobia such as the fear of driving over bridges or the fear of highway driving.

If you are talking about exhaust then it is leftover gasses from the explosions inside the cylinders. As the car runs gas and air are pumped into the cylinder. The piston then compresses them and a spark is added from the spark plug causing an explosion this causes the pistons to go up and down. The gasses that are leftover from the explosion come out of your tailpipe.
