From my understanding, the air filter has no effect at all on the air conditioner. The air filter is mainly for airflow to the engine and emmissions, while the ac condensor functions on its own.
Brakes are rubbing the rotors on my Saturn vue?
The stupid people used ceramic pistons in the calipers and they have worn crooked so they are binding up the pad so it rubs on the rotor.
The piston won't retract back like it should.

Just unscrew it and replace the wiring.
The upper oxygen sensor is on the exhaust manifold, close to the headpipe.
The replacement sensors are often plug compatible, but others must be spliced in to the old wiring. If you end up with that, refer to the instruction to figure out where the wires go.

I am currently having this same issue with my 03 Vue, and I got a diagnostic done (twice). The issue seems to be the BMC. Initially, I had the same issue as you, but over about the next year, my gauges started to bounce and the powersteering goes in and out. My SERVICE light also lit up and my A/C stopped working. The filter is a cartridge type on the front of the engine to the passanger side of the exhaust pipe. There is a silver cap with a large hex head that holds the filter. Remove the cap and the filter comes out with it, be sure to replace the gasket on the cap as well as the filter.

Well for one, if it's a manual transmission...you don't.
If it's an automatic transmisson, there is a drain plug right underneath the transmission. It's easy to see.
wrong. there is no plug for transmission you have to remove the pan and replace the gasket. where the transmission plug should be will be a gear box if u remove that plug u will drain gear oil.

2004 Saturn vue which way do you turn the oil filter cap to loosen it?
Turn it to the left to loosen to the right to tighten. If you can't get it off it may be on too tight (it should be firmly hand tightened. You may need to buy a filter wrench to fit. If all else fails penetrate the filter with a sharp Phillips screw driver (after you have drained the engine oil of course) in such a way to create a lateral pressure lever to give you the force to get it off. If a filter wrench does not fit, if it is the band type, shim it to give tight fit and turn to the left. Most of all have a word with the Monkey Brain who cranked it on that tight in the first place. Hand tighten only. Do not crank it in with the wrench when replacing.

You should be able to put the key in the run position, press the panic button on the key 4 times slowly and then press the lock button to put it into passive security, press the lock button twice to put it into active security, or press the unlock button to disable the security system.
