Is neon found in nature or is it man made?
Neon is found in trace amounts in the Earth's atmosphere, but it is not typically found in its pure form in nature. Most of the neon used commercially is produced through a process called fractional distillation of liquid air.
How long does it take for marigold seeds to germinate?
Marigold seeds typically germinate within 4-14 days when planted in well-draining soil and kept consistently moist at temperatures between 70-75°F (21-24°C). Some varieties may take longer to germinate, up to 21 days.
Why do electrician screwdrivers have rubber handle?
This is my opinion.
When using a screwdriver, you would have to twist and turn. This creates friction. by creating friction, the screwdrivers are getting negatively charged.
But, rubbers are insulators(objects that hold elections loosely. Mostly non-metals). this means that rubber can hold electrons tightly; preventing any electrons from flowing. So by using rubber, electricians or one would have protection from electric shock. but if there were no rubber, there would be sparks from negatively charged screwdriver when it is attracted to a positive charged or neutral object.
The rubber hold the electrons which prevent electric shock.

How does electricity effect seed germination?
Electricity can potentially affect seed germination by stimulating enzymatic activity and metabolic processes within the seed, leading to quicker growth and improved germination rates. However, the impact can vary depending on the type of seed, the intensity and duration of the electric field, and other environmental factors. Further research is needed to fully understand the mechanisms and outcomes of using electricity for seed germination.
How long does it take a tomato seed to germinate?
Tomato seeds typically germinate within 5 to 10 days when planted in optimal conditions, which include warm temperatures, adequate moisture, and good soil quality. However, some varieties may take up to 2 weeks to germinate.
The state of being manipulated means?
Being manipulated means being influenced or controlled by someone in a cunning or deceitful way, often for their own benefit and at the expense of the person being manipulated. It can involve tactics such as lying, guilt-tripping, or emotional manipulation to make someone act in a certain way against their best interests.
An electric field is a region surrounding an electrically charged object where another charged object experiences a force. It is a vector quantity that describes the direction and magnitude of the force that a positive test charge would experience if placed in the field. Electric fields can be created by static charges, moving charges, or changing magnetic fields.
What is the synonyme of nuclear fissure?
The synonym for nuclear fissure is nuclear division or nuclear cleavage.
When something that's made from is falling out o the sky
How was polyethylene discovered?
Polyethylene was discovered in 1933 by Reginald Gibson and Eric Fawcett, two researchers working for Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) in the UK. They accidentally discovered polyethylene while conducting an experiment with ethylene gas at high pressure and temperature. This accidental discovery led to the development of one of the most widely used plastics in the world.
What is the scientific word for obleck?
Trixatropic
Liquids that exhibit decreased viscosity with increaseg agitation.
Models are used to save time money and lives?
Models help to simulate complex systems and scenarios, providing insights that can inform decisions and lead to more efficient resource allocation. By using models, organizations can reduce costs associated with trial and error, optimize processes, and predict potential outcomes, ultimately saving time, money, and even lives by enabling better-informed decision-making.
Acceleration as a concept was not discovered by a single individual, but it was first formally described by Sir Isaac Newton in his laws of motion. Newton's second law of motion states that the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass.
Is hair removal cream an acid or an alkali?
Hair removal cream is typically an alkali (basic) substance containing ingredients like calcium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide. These ingredients work to break down the proteins in hair, allowing it to dissolve and be wiped away.
As long as an object at rest is there a force acting against it?
There can be forces acting on an object while it is at rest, as long as the forces cancel each out. For example: a block laying on a table feels the force of gravity pulling it down, but the table pushes up with the same force. Therefore, the forces cancel and the object remains at rest.
What gas can reignite a blown out match in a test tube?
Oxygen gas can reignite a blown out match in a test tube as it supports combustion by reacting with the match head.
What is the lowest recorded temperature in Mount Whitney?
The lowest recorded temperature on Mount Whitney was -13 on Nov. 18 1985
Which is the part of the experiment that is the measurable outcome?
This is the variable which changes as a result of what you change in the experiment. If you change the height from which you drop a ball, you may observe the height to which it bounces. The height of the bounce is the outcome variable.
What will happen if a burning splint is put into the tube of hydrogen collected?
a glowing splint in hydrogen gas will make a popping sound. this is because hydrogen is very reactive and when it comes into contact with the oxygen in the air it reacts with it and that is what you hear in the popping sound.
What is the controlled variable in Spallanzani experiment?
In Spallanzani's experiment, the controlled variable was the type of container used to hold the broth. By using different containers with varying levels of accessibility to air, Spallanzani was able to determine the role of air in the generation of life.
What keeps thing hotter plastic wrap aluminum foil or wax paper?
Aluminum foil is the best at keeping things hot because it reflects heat and acts as a barrier to prevent heat loss. Plastic wrap and wax paper are not as effective in retaining heat as aluminum foil.
Different gases has different weight?
Yes, they do.
Different gases have different weight. It is because atoms of different gases have different atomic mass. It can be understood by the following example.
For example, there are two balloons (A and B) of equal capacity. Fill balloon A with 30,000 atoms of hydrogen and balloon B with 30,000 atoms of chlorine. Thus, balloon A is filled with hydrogen gas and balloon B with chlorine gas.
Now, calculate its mass:
Balloon A :
30,000 x 1 = 30,000 amu.
Balloon B :
30,000 x 35.5 = 1,065,000 amu.
Whereas, 30,000 is the number of atoms; 1 is the atomic mass of hydrogen atom; and 35.5 is the mass of chlorine atom. amu is used for atomic mass unit.
From the above mentioned we can assume that different gases have different weight.
Can you prevent an apple from turning brown?
Yes, you can prevent an apple from turning brown by exposing it to an acidic solution like lemon juice or vinegar, which will slow down the oxidation process that causes browning. Another method is to store the cut apple in an airtight container or plastic wrap to reduce its exposure to oxygen.
Why do need to dehydrate the slides before the mounting?
Dehydrating the slides helps to remove excess water, which can cause distortion of tissue and artifacts during the mounting process. Removing water also allows for better adhesion of the coverslip to the slide, ensuring that the specimen stays in place and is preserved for longer periods.
