Where to put gearbox oil in a 1.4 seat ibiza?
There is a large sump plug on the front of the gearbox, this needs a torque drive (possibly 19mm) to open it, if oil drips out then it is full, if not you need to add some.
Thanks

How do you change the driver door Lock on R reg seat ibiza?
You can buy the part in a kit form from a Volkswagon parts dealer. about £15 plus V.A.T. The kit includes a new barrel but you have to insert the 'keeps' from the old barrel. Beware, tiny springs that are easily lost. The 'keeps' must go in exactly the same order as the old barrel. If you do get them mixed up they have to all be flush with the barrel, on both sides, when the key is inserted. The problem is attaching the rod and paddle as there is a spring and it seems to me that the obvious way is to remove the handle itself. That is where I am up to right now. Any answers to this and I'm sorted! best of luck.

Where is the oil filter located in the seat Ibiza 2000?
I have a 2005 SEAT Ibiza Reference. It is right at the front of the engine near the centre and has a black circular cap. You may be surprised at how small it is. It's probably less than 15cm deep. This made me think that it could not possibly be the oil filter as on my previous cars it had been much larger/longer. If you get a replacement filter from a SEAT garage, you just get the cardboard-like filter than slots into the existing metal case. Just unscrew the metal top take out the old filter and slot the new one back in. As you are only changing the cardboard-like part, filters are cheaper than for other vehicles where the oil filter change comprises of changing the metal case too.

If you mean the plastic cover, it's so simple!.. Just get a good gripe on it, and pull hard!! Very hard!! No screws, no anything.. Then .. Pull out the small black hose, if you want to have access to the air filter.. turn it over, and unscrew the small screws around it..

Where is obd2 plug on 00 seat ibiza?
Hi, Not sure about the 00 model - most OBD2 plugs are close to the central ashtray. However on my 2003 Seat Ibiza the OBD2 plug is on the left side of the car - below the steering wheel on the left is a tiny glove compartment. Remove that compartment and behind it you'll find the plug. Took me 30 minutes to find! Blaise
Should be a button on center console..Just underneath hanbrake button.

How do you change km to miles on seat ibiza?
I don't know what 'seat ibiza' is, but changing kilometers to miles is easy,
no matter where you're sitting:
Multiply the number of kilometers by 0.62137 to get the same distance in miles.
OK ... I went and did the necessary research, and found that SEAT Ibiza is a small
sporty car that's currently very popular. So I guess there's a chance that you may be trying to do this calculation while you're driving, possibly even in your head.
If that's the case, then here are the two easiest ways to approximately change
kilometers to miles, easy enough for a lot of people to do this in their head:
Multiply kilometers by 0.6 ( 6/10 ) to get miles. or Divide kilometers by 1.6 ( 10/6 ) to get miles. The answer is the same. The method is your choice.

How often do you change timing belt?
The timing belt should be changed every 60,000 miles. Most belts will still look like new at 60,000 miles. They seem to want to break at 100,000 miles. Nothing bad will happen if it breaks other than a tow to a mechanic.
This is true if you have a non-interference engine BUT if you have an interference engine and the timing belt breaks the engine can destroy itself in a moment.
