Does aspirin get rid of pimples?
yes aspirin mask is reasonable for treatment of Acne. Clarification: Why does it work? I know that the active ingredient in aspirin is salicylic acid. I know further that the same is the active ingredient in many anti-acne creams (such as that of Clearasil, Nutragena, etc.). So intiutively, it seems an aspirin mask should help. However, I also know that salicylic acid is very non-soluble. So creating a paste of aspirin powder and water should create something that leaves the salicylic acid mostly non-available to the skin, i.e., not dissolved in the water. So why should it work well? Perhaps other ingredients are needed to make the active ingredient more bio-available? Anyone have concrete information about this? Further Clarification: The active ingredient in aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid. In the presence of water at a neutral pH, this compound will hydrolyze to salicylic acid and acetic acid to a very small extent. It is likely that aspirin masks are only safe because this hydrolysis is very minimal in water of a neutral pH.
It is precisely because salicylic acid is lipid-soluble that it is so effective treating acne at very low concentrations. The acid is able to dissolve in the sebum and penetrate into pores to exert its exfoliating effects.

How does psoriasis affect a tattoo?
Psoriasis is an immune system disorder that has no cure, but can be treated with topical creams, injections and pills. Some people with psoriasis develop new lesions when their skin gets cut (shaving etc.). Since tattoos break the skin it is possible for someone who has psoriasis to develop lesions on or around their tattoo. Each person is different and they need to use their own judgement. If you have psoriasis you can get a tattoo, but be prepared for the outcome. Your tattoo could stay clear until the day you die or it could get covered by psoriasis.
Does vinegar take the heat out of a sunburn?
It does on me.
I don't know exactly how it works, but it draws the heat from the burn. Vinegar can be applied with a soft cloth, or add two cups to a warm bath and soak for 15 minutes. Either way, you will instantly feel better. Repeat every 4 hours for a bad burn, but usually after the first time, you feel improvement immediately. I also suggest using aloe vera after the first two applications of vinegar. The aloe keeps the skin mosturized and keeps skin from peeling so you won't lose the tan you suffered for!
If you still suffer after vinegar, it may sound crazy, but lay down on cool concrete (perhaps a basement floor or carport.) The cool concrete draws the heat out, but it is only a temporary solution. Vinegar is the best way to go!
You tried the Fentanyl Patch 75mg and it made you itch like crazy so did MethMorphine why?
That's not a good sign, particularly if the itching is around the patch edges, and worse if it's the entire patch area.
Itching usually indicates either an allergic reaction to the patch adhesive material, or the patch material itself. If the entire skin area under the patch is itching, you likely have an allergy to the gel or the Fentanyl itself.
The other possibility is an irritant on the skin prior to patch application. This is common if you've cleaned the area with alcohol and not rinsed it well with water, or you've used some type of other skin product before putting on the patch. Shaving the area and then immediately putting it on can cause irritation as well if it's not rinsed well.

If necessary, take a pain reliever such as, Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin or other). Follow label instructions.
Take the pain reliever until redness and soreness is alleviated.
Skin that has blistered should be treated gently and kepted moisturize .Use sunscreen liberally and frequently to prevent further damage to your sunburn blisters. Some studies have shown that we only use half of the recommended amount.

When does the itching stop with scalp ringworm?
It doesn't stop until the Thrush goes.
Cheapest, most effective, least messy cure:
Mix 1 part white vinegar with 9 parts water. Draw it up into a syringe (no needle) or turkey baster. While in the shower or over the lavatory (toilet) insert one or two syringefuls. Do this morning and night until the itch goes away. Usually goes after 1-2 showers.

How do you control dandruff and hair fall?
To treat a dry scalp, the cause of much of the flaky, snowy dandruff, massage some pure virgin olive oil into the scalp and then brush vigorously with a natural bristle hairbrush to help loosen dandruff scales. Microwave the oil until its warm to the touch and apply about twice a week. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and wash it out with a good shampoo.
Another treatment is to regularly rinse the scalp with apple cider vinegar. Vinegar restores the scalp to a healthy state and is effective at cleansing off toxins from the environment that may contribute to dandruff.
There are many basic remedies that you can take to keep your hair dandruff free. A warm coconut oil head massage can do wonders. Apart from making your hair lustrous and shiny, the optimized oil levels keep the scalp nourished while the vigorous massage aids better blood circulation, exfoliates the scalp of dead skin build up.
A teaspoon of fresh lime juice in the last hair rinse combined with a light weight conditioner can also be effective to treat dandruff. Furthermore, this adds much needed luster to the hair as well.

It really depends on how bad it is. If it is mild a simple tea tree shampoo and conditioner will help. like the Paul Mitchell kind. However if its bad, you might need a shampoo specifically for dandruff, there is a product called medi-dan that works really well but smells horrible.

You can try some of the shampoo's at your local store or consult a doctor for a prescription shampoo.
Whenever you are using anything to put into your hair, make sure you use you fingertips and not your nails. I know it is very tempting but bleeding is very common. In fact it is almost impossible that it won't bleed if you use your fingernails. It will increase the damage.
And no matter what, NEVER EVER EVER pick at it hoping it will go away. That is about the worst thing you can do. Rub your fingertips against it if it itches.

2. To much drying or water on your hands.

What does eczema look like under the skin?
it differs. somedays it feels like its not even there and you have clear skin. but when it flares up you have to itch it, you feel the need to itch it. if you leave it long enough you feel like if you don't itch it, it will drive you mad. then you've itched it, you feel it come up some where else and you itch that and so on and so on. when you have stopped itching you may feel it start up again so you will itch it again. this keeps occurring until you are satisfied. you could be bleeding and you still aren't satisfied. But it's different for everyone, this is just how it happens to me.
Why do you get pimples on the throat that cause painful sores?
Well, those pimples can possibly be pus-filled sores that cause strep throat, a bacterial infection of the throat. Usually you get it from someone who you have had oral contact with, or has coughed or sneezed on you. The symptoms of strep throat, or streptococcal pharyngitis, are not being able to swallow very much, painful swelling in throat, pus-filled sores colored yellow or white, the lack of coughing, loss of appitite, and redness of throat. It can be treated with antibiotics or just plain comfort liquids such as tea. But be sure to see your doctor to be tested for this. Only 12% of sore throats end up as strep throat, and if you happen to have it, and do nothing to fix it, it can lead to serious conditions such as rheumatic fever, clogging of the heart valves, and making it hard for the host to the bacteria hard to breathe. I am in seventh grade and have just done an oral report on "My Favorite Bacterial/Viral Disease". Glad to
Can you use Prednisone for skin rash?
I am allergic to Prednisone. I have been since I was a little girl (I'm 45 now). Though my doctors know that I am allergic, sometimes Prednisone is what they mandate (for reasons), despite the consequences. So now I'm on a 10-day course of 10mg Prednisone for treatment of bronchial infection that will not go away; I also have Asthma and take Singular daily, along with inhaler only when I need it. 7 days into the treatment, I began breaking out into a severe rash all over my body. Knowing that it was going to happen did not make it any easier.
Treatments my family has used successfully: (will help with prednisone rash symptoms)
* luke warm bath filled with baking soda. Soak for as long as you like.
* luke warm bath; fill a sock with oatmeal (a lot of it), tie up the sock and put it in the bath as you fill up the tub. Soak for an hour (that's what I've been doing lately).
* After the bath, I've used oatmeal lotions
