It depends on your height. When you are renting a snowboard, the employee will measure your heigth and then give you the snow board that fits you the best. If you are buying a snowboard they do the same thing.

Another answer- I would definitely recommend K2 I ride a K2 and I have riden many types of boards. I really enjoy my K2 a whole two years without any major damage to the board, plus the have great designs. Great edge, great flex, high quality. Nice boards.

It really depends on where you live. If you live in the northern part of the united states. id recommend searchmont resort, or buttermilk resort, if youre a begginer, i would recommend buttermilk, because its hills, are much smaller and shorter. If youre a good snowboarder, id reccoment searchmont, because its a really fun hill, and good for just riding, or they have an awesom trick hill, with many jumps, and also a really good resort.

no! wide boards suck! dont get a wide snowboard. only US 11.5 and up need wide snowboards, they have a lot of lag, and no pop, regular is for you!
