YES, IT IS TOTALLY POSSIBLE!! I was the one who asked this question about 2 days ago and today I found out I am pregnant. I usually have brown discharge on regular cycles but this one was an IUI cycle, my 4th IUI cycle. The first 3 I didn't spot at all and wasn't pregnant but with this one I spotted for like 9 days and I am!! So it's totally possible. Now I'm crossing my fingers so that it stays 9 months! That depends on how much bleeding? Did you recently have sex because that can cause some bleeding. You don't always have to be in pain to miscarry. You should call your ob/gyn immediately.

I cant really say if it is normal i was 7 weeks pregnant and i had a discharge that was brown and i miscarried a day later, you really need to talk to your ob/gyn about what it looks like. It might be normal but you need to be on the safe side just in case it isn't normal.

mIU means "million International Units". It is a standard unit of measure often seen in medical/pharmacological applications. Nowadays a urine test can detect hcg when it has reached a level of between 25-50 "parts per million (international units)".

If you think about it like tiny microscopic little drops, then you could think of it as: if the sample taken (or absorbed) equals a million microscopic drops---then 45 of those drops are hcg and the rest is just regular urine waste. Well that would be a strong enough concentration for a lot of tests to detect it.

So if one says it can detect at 25 and the other says it can detect at 100, then the one that says 25 is much more sensitive and can detect hcg sooner. Hope that makes sense. It's just all about concentration levels of hormones. :-)

um i hade pain on my lower right side when i was a bout four weeks it lasted right up until i was 10 weeks i went to the doctor he sent me four an ultra sound to rule out an eptopic pregnancy i didnt hva e one and the concultion they came to was that was the side that the egg relased from and it hade some thing to do with hormones but my advice would be go see your doctor
