Where do you go to get your transcript if you graduated from high school?
Transcripts are most likely sent to the school where students from the closed school will be attending. You can contact that school and if they do not have them, contact the school system's central office. They will know where they are.
Many schools keep their records on computers, so it might just be a case of the transcript being accessed and printed out.
How can you ensure its a fair test?
Fairness is subjective and depends upon your definition and what is being tested. Goals of tests can vary according to what outcome is desired - problem solving capabilities, learned knowledge retention, street smarts, physical strength, ability to work under pressure, specialized skill sets, etc.
One way you could ensure a test is fair would be to make certain that everyone taking the test had the same opportunities to learn what is being tested. Even then, you can get into the debate of which teachers, schools, or training programs taught the subject better.
The purpose of testing is to expose weaknesses - either to select the best or to determine where improvements could be made - and that will be 'unfair' to someone.

What test do you take to get into stuyvesant high school?
take the SHSAT (specialized high schools admissions test) in october of 8th grade. it's reading and math, but its really hard. out of 22,000, about 800 will get into stuy. there r actually 9 specialized high schools, of which 8 of them u gotta take the shsat, and stuy is 1 of them. the board of ed takes the student with the highest score and puts him/her in the first specialized high school of their choice. then they just go down the list of scores until one of the school's seats are filled, so they put that next kid in their second choice school, and so on. ur raw score (from 0-100) is scaled into the scaled score (0-800) and only the board of ed knows the exact number to multiply them, its pretty complex. all these years, the cutoff score (u need a score higher than this if u wanna get into the first school of ur choice) was around 560 for getting into stuy. i did the math and that's around getting a 70 for ur raw score. stuy high is really a gr8 school. GOOD LUCK!!!:)
How do you answer open-ended questions?
Fill-in-the-blank questions are testing your understanding of context and facts. Usually, if you have been paying attention and keeping up with your homework, the question will be pretty simple to figure out. Example: "Twinkle, twinkle, little ___" should be familiar to anyone who has heard the song. However, in order to fill in the sentence "Snakes can unhinge their ___ to swallow food," you need to have studied snakes in your science class so that you remember that they unhinge their jaws. Here are some specific tips for different kinds of questions. * If there is a list of words that you can use, try putting each word into the blank and reading it (to yourself if you are in class, out loud if you are alone) to see if it makes sense in that spot. * If you have a comparison question ( "x is to y as z is to ___"), think about what you know about x and y, then see if you can think of anything that will have a similar relationship to z. For example: "Boat is to water as helicopter is to ___" would make you think about how boats and water go together. Boats are things you can use to travel in water, so you would think that helicopters are things you can use to travel in air, then you would choose "air" as your answer.

Is there a nccer instrumentation practice test?
it covers basic safety and handtool knowledge, how to layout and install pipe and tubing, terminations and shielding/grounding for instrumentation, valves, relays, actuators, metallurgy, drawings and documents, gaskets and packing, lubcricants and cleaners, types of tubing, hoses, secondary elements controllers, detectors, switches and photoelectric devies, regulators, dryers, analyzers monitors, raceways, panel mounting, cleaning and testing said cleanliness in instrument systems, instrument fitters math (which includes some trig) etc... a lot of stuff you don't need to know to fabricate bend and install tubing along with the appropriate supports but if you want the money, well you know.
Some specific questions it asks..... 1-What color tie wrap do you use outside- black.
2- Why can you use white tie wraps inside? They are not UV resistant therefore cannot be used outside.
3- How much do you subtract from your measurement on 1/2 inch tubing when bending a 90? 11/16"
4- About 10 questions about parts of a pipe threader- ie chuck, jaws, on/off switch etc.
5- How do you identify instrument air on a set of prints? line with small lines across it like a single railroad track showing cross ties.
6- A few questions about stroking a valve ie- 1-12 = 0-100% 50% open is 6, 75% open is 9
7-Identifying types of valves on drawings
I had not been in a plant in 17 years. I had 10 years experience as a boilermaker, pipefitter and welder. I had welded for an instrumentation and electrical company. I had never worked as an instrument fitter before and I passed the test. If you have industrial experience and remember the questions I just gave you you have a good chance of passing. Brush up on reading drawings and identify parts of a pipe threader. Remember the tie wraps and the deduction when bending a 1/2" 90. You just might pass it too.

Which of these methods can help you prepare for an essay exam?
When preparing for an English exam, bear in mind that you should have a well-framed plan in mind when you are preparing. With this I mean having a good structure as to what you will prepare for first. You should pay attention to contextualisation the most, i.e. reading different articles and understanding the core message of it.
According to the related link below, the SAT exam was initially referred to as the Army Alpha exam, invented by Robert Yerkes during the First World War. It was an IQ test developed to test all recruits to the U.S. Army when he wished to test the IQ level of U.S. Army soldiers. After the war, Yerkes' assistant Carl Brigham started adapting the test for use on college students as a college admissions test.
What colleges accept a 830 score?
On the 1600 scale, a 1330 is fairly good, and many schools will accept that.
However, most colleges have switched to the 2400 scale, in which a 1330 is below average. There is usually no "required" SAT score for colleges, but prestigious schools such as Caltech or MIT might instantly reject your application if your SAT score is below 1500, for example (avg score for these schools ~ 2200. Admission is more holistic, i.e. it is possible for a 1600-SAT scorer with an incredible application to get admitted).
What is the grade equivalent of the Scholastic Math Inventory score?
The scores on Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI) depend on your grade level, so I am not sure there is an average score. For example, the expected SRI Lexile score for a 1st grader is 100-400, for a 2nd grader is 300-600, for a 3rd grader is 500-800, for a 4th grader is 600-900, for a 5th grader is 700-1000, for a 6th grader is 800-1050, for a 7th grader is 850-1100, etc....
^^^^^ This person is very correct about the sri scores this helped me too if you wanted a second person on hand i agree (:
Sat scores needed to get in to University of Texas in Austin?
The Attorney General of the State of Texas ruled several years ago that standardized test scores cannot be used as the sole basis for denying an applicant admission to a state-supported college or university. Thus, there are no "required" SAT scores for admission to UT-Austin. Admissions decisions are relative. That is, it depends entirely upon the applicant pool at the time. UT-Austin has a set number of new students (freshmen and transfers) that they admit each year. Presuming that they operate like most other universities, a number of factors are considered when making admission decisions - standardized test scores (SAT or ACT), high school and/or junior college GPA, essay quality (content, style, grammar), high school class rank, recommendations, applicants' experiences (participation in extracurricular activities, volunteer service, leadership activities, etc.) and, perhaps, personal interview results. Remember, that ALL state-supported colleges and universities in Texas are required by law to admit any applicant who graduates in the top 10% of his or her class in high school.

What are some good tips for passing national exams like SAT or ACT or TOEFL?
for me, the hardest part is the time constriction. I've taken it twice and the first time, if i couldn't get the answer right away, i'd try for a little while longer to see if i could get it; but if you try just a little while longer on a lot of questions, it all adds up, so i didn't finish any of the sections. the second time, if i couldn't get the answer right away, i would circle that number to go back to it if i had time at the end. that worked a lot better because i finished a lot more and even had time to go back at the end to try to figure out the ones i had skipped. hope that helps. and if anyone else has any other advice, i'd love to know for the third time i take it
What schools can you get into with a sat score of 1600?
First of all, congratulations on such a high score, but seriously, scores are only one part of your profile as a whole person. A score like 1510 makes you competitive at most colleges but it does not in anyway guarantee entrance. Your score is not what the school is accepting, it's you as a person. And of course colleges accept these score as much as they accept a 1400, or a 1300.
Is there a homeschooling test that allows you to pass seventh grade?
I am a teacher and the reason I do ok helping my students who are taking high school biology is because I collaborate in the classroom with the science teacher who refreshes my memory of what I was taught plus teaching me the new information.
It really depends upon if you have had a reason to be caught up on that material and how well you remember the past information.
