Changing the oil on a subaru is like changing the oil in any vehicle first you can find the new filter size and oil you need either in the owners manual if you have lost the owners manual you can find it either at an autoparts store or at any walmart supercenter that sells fuel filters they have a computer that you will put you year make and model in and it will tell you which filter will work and on the oil I recomend 10w30 but it depends on what your car takes and it can be found in a book. then remove the drain plug on the bottom of your oil pan and just try and error on size as each year can possibly change . replace plug when all oil is out and filter is changed, then replace oil. DONOT overfill

I have an 02 Outback and if it's the same on yours you have to hold both the unlock and lock buttons on your remote at the same time for more than two seconds. It helps if you first unlock the vehicle and then do the above procedure. To turn the beep off you just repeat the step above.

If you have a newer model, with the remote unlock built in to the ignition key, press the button that looks like a trunk opening. This will open the tailgate but leave the other doors locked. Otherwise, press the Unlock button TWICE - this will unlock ALL doors, including the tailgate.
