Where is the front pump transmission seal located at on a Subaru Outback?
At the front of the transmission, where the torque converter goes. The transmission will have to be removed. The awd trans of an outback is unique to most others in that the transmisson has the awd differential mounted on the front of the transmission to,operate the front wheels similar to a fwd transmission vs. having a transfer case with a front driveline going to a frontend. The fromt diff. Still takes gear oil. Your torque converter has a pump engagement shaft attatched to its hub that is about 10 inches or so that sticks through the dif. To engage the pump on the trans that is on the other side of the diff.. There is a shaft that seals the pump engagement shaft from the gear oil of the dif.. If you go through the trouble of removing the trans to replace the seal, check the fluid of the dif, and make sure there isnt any automatic tansmission fluid in it. If there is, more work than replacing the front pump seal will be required, you will waste your time putting it back in and prob cost you more in the long run. If it is fine, when replacing the seal, make sure the bushing isnt worn, if the bushimg is worn out, it will have to be replaced, or else it will still leak when you put it back in. make sure you know what your doimg before digging into a subaru

How do you take a rotor off a 1999 Daewoo is it the center nut or the screw on the rotor?
The center nut is for the hub assembly. You need to remove the screws on the rotor. The screws might be stuck to the rotor when you try to take it out. If this is the case, be careful when you use the screwdriver. You might round out the screw head. When the screw is hard to remove, I usually use a 1/4" socket wrench, 1/4" socket, and screwdriver bit. The screwdriver bit will fit inside the 1/4" socket. This gives you extra torque and won't round out the screw as a screwdriver might do. Once the screws are out, the rotor should come right off.
Where is belt diagram for Subaru Outback?
The belt diagram is not under the hood on a sticker, as located on many other vehicles. Consult your Owners Manual. If all else fails, make your own diagram before belt removal. Cheers! On my 2005 Outback 2.5 the belts are (facing vehicle from front) AC on right and Alt/Power Steering pump on left. The AC belt is narrower and the Alt/PS belt is wider. The AC belt routes over the rear half of the crank pulley on left, AC pump on right, and tensioner pulley at bottom right. The Alt/PS belt routes over the front half of the crank pulley, over Alt at top right, over PS pump on bottom left. The AC pump tension is managed by a 12mm bolt above the tensioner. The Alt/PS belt tension is managed by a 12mm bolt above the left side of the Alternator. Good luck.
