How many people get a tattoo each day?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

This question is impossible to answer but I can shed some light on the situation. I live in a city where there is approximately 20 tattoo parlours and artists. The place I got my tattoos at averages about 25 people a day, but that is considering size and how long the tattoo takes, some can be up to 10 hours or more, also considering there is about 4 artists in the one building. So doing the math 25 people 20 shops that's approximately 500 people a day, getting new art done or having touch ups and finishing something. And that is just in my city, also considering the fact that people do home tattoos with out being licenced. A lot of people do that, my sister in fact is one. Now I have 2 tattoos and am planning on getting 3 more, and my boyfriend has 12. So if you are planning on getting one, make sure you understand how addicting they can be.

User Avatar

Legal age to get tattooed in most states is 18. If you're under age any good shop should turn you away. If you go to an underground or unlicensed shop there is no telling what they could end up doing to your skin. Unless you know some one that is willing to tattoo you, you may be out of luck until you turn 18.

No. Tattoos are not inkied into bone, that would be horribly painful and dangerous. Theye are in you skin, not bone. The reason long-dead corpses have been found with tattoos, is because those corpses were mummified, meaning they didn't go through true decomposition and their skin remains, allowing us to see their tattoos.

Getting your tongue pierced with a small, barely noticeable lisp may temporarily affect your speech as you adjust to the piercing. They can. A good way to discover whether you already have fairies/faeries is to walk outside after a rain. If you see what is commonly known as a "faery ring" (a large circle defined by mushrooms), then it is likely that they have been celebrating in your yard.

What is the symbolism of a mockingbird?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

In To Kill a Mockingbird one of the themes is the punishment of innocent things. For example, Tom is innocent and considered a mockingbird because all he was trying to do was help Mayella. Instead, he gets sued and later killed in jail. Like a mockingbird, all Tom was trying to do was make Mayella happy.

Like Miss Maudie said all the Songbirds try to do is make music for us to enjoy.

"Remember it's a sin to kill a mockingbird." That was the only time I ever heard Atticus say it was a sin to do something, and I asked Miss Maudie about it.

"Your father's right," she said. "Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy . . . but sing their hearts out for us. That's why it's a sin to kill a mockingbird."

Boo Radley could also be considered a mockingbird because he has false judgments made against him, but he is very innocent. At the end of the novel, Boo saves Jem and Scout from Bob Ewell, so Boo is actually a good person.

So basically mockingbirds are considered innocent things, and shooting them would be a sin because they don't cause any harm.

Hope this helps!

What does a dragon fly symbolize?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The dragon is Beowulf's final adversary in the poem, and it represents the demise of Beowulf's kingdom, the end of a golden and peaceful era for his people. The dragon guards a treasure of a long-forgotten society, foreshadowing that Beowulf's homeland will soon fall into disarray. Dragons have come to typically symbolize greed as well, but the more important point is that the dragon is Beowulf's and his kingdom's doom. Before the fight, all but one of his men desert him, showing that the allegiance holding his kingdom together is already falling apart. Although his companion slays the dragon, the implication is that Beowulf's people, the Geats, are doomed.
