Terry Fox got Cancer in his leg so they cut it off they then replaced it with a fake leg Terry didn't want other people to go what he had gone through so he decided to run across canada to raise money for cancer research sadly Terry did not make the trip and the part of the cancer that was still in him killed him now everyone knows how terry tried to make a difference which is why he is famous.
