Will there be roads in heaven?

Roads are on the earth... the LAND that God promised Faithful Abraham and his Faithful Children, through Jesus Christ. The feet of the people of the remnant nations left on earth following the Great Tribulation will travel these roads to Jerusalem, where the newly returned King's throne will be.

Some of the old tombstones told stories and/or poems about the deceased and how he/she met his/her demise. No you are not reincarnated though many hope that they will be. Some folk realise that they have made a mess of their lives and so want a second chance. Unfortunately this does not happen if you comeback as a butterfly or a dog. The Lord has provides sufficient guide lines through the scriptures to help us return to Him. We are given but one lifetime to prove ourselves worthy to recieve what blessings we have earned for ourselves. The Lord is a patience God, but even He has his limits. One life, one chance, that is all.
How does immortality of the soul affect the afterlife?
Immortality of the Soul liberates us from afterlife. If only we realize that we are the Divine immortal Soul. If we remain ignorant and we think we are the body, then we die and we are reborn based on our Karma, our actions. Even if we think we are the ME, the mind and the ego, not the body that returns to dust, we still have an afterlife. When we realize we are the immortal Soul, that realization liberates us from an afterlife. Hades, King of the underworld instantly sent death to collect her and by the time Orpheus, Eurydice's husband hared the news of his wife's death it was too late.Orpheus was upset. When he got there Persephone immediately wanted to help, Hades finally gave in and called for Eurydice. There she was a grey ghost of Eurydice. Hades agreed to her being taken back up to the earth surface on the condition that he never looks back. Orpheus agreed to this and was taken up with Hermes.
They started walking up to the earths surface, they where very close when Orpheus just couldn't help but glance back, just to make sure that she was behind. He broke the deal and Eurydice was sent back.
Orpheus was upset and begged for a second chance but he was not given one.
He started sharing the story of his adventure. Eventually he was killed by a group of Thracian women and was taken over the river Styx and reunited with Eurydice where he was to be happy forever.

The Ancient Egyptians believed that when one died, they would be put in a trial. Anubis would weight the heart of the deceased on a scale against a the Feather of Truth. If the heart was lighter than the feather, then that means you lived a good life and would go on through the underworld. If the deceased' heart was heavier than the feather, then they would be judged impure and evil, and be devoured by a little monster that was part hippo, crocodile and lion named Ammit. The Underworld was Not a place that one could distinguish as "Hell". It was a place where demons and devils resided, but it wasn't the average fiery depths of torture and hatred and blood, etc. that everyone thinks of when they hear "underworld". The deceased would carry the Book of the Dead through their journey through the afterlife.

It was hinted two of the ladies in waiting jumped over the side to join their Queen ( there was something similar involving the cremation of Cleopatra in the Elizabeth Taylor version of that Royal Tragedy.) this could be historical license. The Hawaiian Queen may have been buried at sea, whether two of her Ladies jumped over the side is unknown! I can recall a comic book about Atlantis where terminally Ill people were fitted out in Gondola-like craft and abandoned ( my guess coupled with prayers) into the River Anostis ( No Return) this was evidentally between Italy and Sicily- the boats resembled gondolas but had a different name in the story. It was a really weird comic book. I still don"t know how it came out.
