Well, every child is different. Probably depending on their health (their diet) or how often they brush their teeth or if they take care of their teeth play roles on when they will lose their last tooth. I am twelve and I take good care of my teeth so I have four more teeth to lose, but that's just me. ~From a 12 yr. old GIRL :)

Nope! Don't worry, though, that happened to my gerbil two years ago, and he was perfectly fine! This happens because his teeth get too long, so they fall out. Once they grow back, be sure to give him chew sticks to chew on so his teeth stay the right length.
