The "maintenance" light means it's time for an oil change. The light should come on and blink a few times around 4500 miles (after being reset) and then will stay on solid at 5000 miles. After changing your oil reset the light by: 1. Turn on the ignition and make sure the odometer is showing 'total' vehicle mileage (not one of the trip meters) 2. Turn the ignition off and push the odometer reset button. Hold the button in while you turn the ignition back on. 3. Continue holding the button about five seconds until you see all zero's (000000) on the display. The light is now reset and won't bother you again for 4500 miles.

The only tools need to remove the inside door panel on a Toyota Sequoia is a screwdriver. There are various crews that need to be taken out to remove the door panel. After the screws are out, the door panel comes off very easily.

You have to remove the door panels. You can use 6.5" speakers with a little bit of adaptation. You can search for door panel removal. There are 4 screws, a couple of clips and clips around the edge of the door panel.

In the center console there are 2 things that open,the button in front,push down and the second part will open,there is a button in by the change holder. Make sure you open the second,lower part,not just the top half. Confusing but once you see it you will feel stupid, I did anyway. You can also pop your trunk and use the T-handle on the right hand side/

Here is a way for programming a remote for a 2000 Avalon. This method should work for 2001 Avalon also.

Key out Driver door open and unlocked Insert key into ignition and pull out Lock then unlock the power locks from the master switch 5 times Close and then open the driver's door Lock then unlock the power locks from the master switch 5 times Insert the key into the ignition and turn to ON then OFF, then remove key Locks should cycle - If they don't repeat Press both the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote simultaneously for 1 second Immediately after letting go of the two buttons, press the LOCK button for 2 seconds The locks should then cycle once. If they cycle twice, try again. Close the driver door

This procedure will unfortunately not work for vehicles in Australia because the key fob has only 1 button which performs both the lock and unlock functions

This procedure does work for Australian cars. I just set up a new remote and it worked fine.

FOR AUSTRALIAN AVALONS.

Start with the ignition in the "Lock" position.

CYCLE IGNITION ON-LOCK 3 TIMES THEN ON.

SECURITY LED NEXT TO THE CLOCK SHOULD LIGHT, INDICATING READY TO PROGRAM.

PRESS THE KEY FOB "DOORS" BUTTON FOR A SECOND.

BOTH TURN INDICATORS SHOULD BLINK TO INDICATE ACCEPTANCE.

(IF REQUIRED FOR 2ND/3RD KEY FOB) PRESS THE KEY FOB "DOORS" BUTTON FOR A SECOND.

BOTH TURN INDICATORS SHOULD BLINK TO INDICATE ACCEPTANCE.

SWITCH TEH IGNITION TO "LOCK".

REMOVE KEY, WAIT A SEC AND TEST.

I was frustrated by instructions like the one above. They will not work with the Aussie built Avalons. This will. Outrageous that dealers want A$50 for this 5 second job. Specially after charging 50 for the fob. Let your Aussie Avalon drivers note this simple process in their owners manual.

I can't be positive. But in both my 2003 4runner and 2008 Tundra it's located behind the lower glove box. It's the same procedure on both. Open the box remove the clip/rod on the right side of the box. Squeeze in on the sides of the box to bypass the stop tabs. Remove the glove box. Behind it you will find a long narrow trap door with clips on each end. Release them and pull out the cabin air filter.

That's it. Yours may be different. I found instructions in the box with a new cabin filter that I bought at a local auto store. $28.

i just bought filters for a 1995 and had some pic as to how to install when i took it apart the 1995 dose not take the cabin filter so i would check before buy for the 1994

There's no fuel unlock switch/button. As long as the doors are unlocked you simply push in on the right side of the fuel door. When the doors are locked the fuel door is locked too.

Very simple as long as you get the correct wiper blades. The 2008 Toyota Sequoia has the newer style and more rare "pinch tab" wiper arms. See sources and related links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages - note that not all wipers will fit on pinch tab arms so be sure to reference the make, model and year of your vehicle for the brand wipers you choose to purchase. Pinch-tab compatible wipers are a little bit trickier to find. Locate and press the tabs where the wiper blade meets the wiper arm then tip or rotate the wiper down out of the tab attachment, then rotate slightly so you can remove the little hook at the end out of the hole. The video below shows this in the reverse order but you'll get it.
