What is a category 1 3 point hitch?

A Category 1 three-point hitch is a type of implement attachment system commonly used on tractors, designed for smaller agricultural equipment. It features a specific set of dimensions and pin sizes that allow for easy connection and disconnection of implements, such as plows and mowers. What is the RPM needed to downshift a dump-truck?

It is not so much the proper RPM but the difference in RPM between gears. If you up shift at 1800 and going in next gear you are at 1200, then you have a 600 RPM split between gears. So downshifting you would be around 1200 and would while floating gears or double clutching bring the RPM's up to 1800-1900. Many trucks have RPM range stckers on the visors my old Mack was 1050-1750, that's a 700 RPM range, I would down shift when I hit 1050-1150, at 1150 I would have to bring the RPM's up to about 1850 to get it to go into gear.

Is there a difference between diesel fuel used in cars and furnaces?

Yes, the home heating fuel is of a lower quality or cetane rating than that used for an automobile.

also home fuel is not taxed thats why it is dyed red so they cant sell it for autos it will run fine. cetane booster is 4 bucks. by me truckers are tested for red fuel. dont even ask what the fine is many people have 500 gallons in a above ground tank and fill there car as needed at a 1.50 less a gall. cars are not tested in nj so makes you think youcouldnt tell the difference in performance or smoke just color

How much does a kenworth T60 dump truck weight?

Kenworth doesn't make a T60. Since you said "dump truck" and not "tipper", I'll assume you meant the North American T600, and not one of the Australian variants (such as the T604). What you saw was probably a road tractor conversion - I've never seen a T600 which came from the factory as a dump truck or any other type of rigid (although I can't say that they don't exist). Next time you see it, take a look at the back. If you see air bags, then it has an air ride suspension, and was certainly a road tractor conversion. If it has a Camelback, Chalmers, etc. suspension, it was some type of sitework vehicle - it may have been a tractor, or it may have come from the factory as a rigid. The transmission and gear ratios would narrow it down.

As far as what it weighs, the T600 tends to be a bit heavy as far as road tractors go. However, if it were a road tractor conversion, and a double frame wasn't installed, you'd save some weight there (but lose durability). Depending on configuration, bed (material, length, wall height), you'd be looking at anywhere from 22,000 - 28,000 lbs.
