How do you format usb flash drive?

You need to determine the letter of the drive in which the flash drive is inserted. To do this, you can enter Windows Start menu (Windows logo in the bottom left) and click on Computer. Find the drive where you have the flash drive, and remember it.

Now to get a command prompt, you need to click the Start Menu again. In the Search space, type "Command Prompt." This should open a black window with the following:

Microsoft Windows [version (information specific to your computer)]

Copyright ---- (the year) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\User\Home

There will be a flashing underscore (cursor). Type the following: Format G:

This should do what you hope.

How do you un lock a write protected sdhc memory card?

Every SD card should have a write protect switch located on the right edge, about 5mm from the top of the card. In order to unlock the card slide the switch upwards.

Note that with Mini SD and Micro SD (Transflash) these switches are not present. The card is always unlocked. A switch may however be present on an SD card adapter.

Because of the position of the switch they can often be switched accidentally on inserting or removing the card.

What is a USB device?

The abbreviation is of Universal Serial Bus, which refers to the way the device corresponds with a computer in order to deliver or exchange files.

The physical link is a small 4-pole connector, but there is of course a goodly amount of controlling electronics with it.

There there are very many USB devices, of which the small portable memory "stick" is perhaps the simplest. Digital cameras also use USB connections to allow you to transfer images from them to computers.

How much video will 8GB Flash-drive hold?

1st answer from Aaron: 8gb can hold from 7-8 hours of video time but i recommend if possible to get a bigger mermory card such as a 16gb because they can hold 13-14 hours of energy so do the best you can

This would be a good answer if we knew what resolution and what type of compression was used. Getting more specific, an h.264 movie that I've downloaded takes up about 8.5 gb and it's 117 minutes long. This is in 1080p format I believe. A better example that I do have on hand is another h.264 video in 720p at 30 frames per second. It is 741 mb and it's 42 minutes long. Since we have exacts (mostly) on that, then we can assume (if we had everything the same) that you could put one minute of video at this quality on 17.64mb. So, going upward 60 minutes would fit on just over one gb (1,058 mb). Therefore, an 8gb card would hold around 7 and a half hours of video at this particular resolution, compression, and any other extras that I may not know about. Just to let you know what else I have read, I have found others saying that they could get about 2 hours of 1080p video on 8gb's.

And the exported files can be saved in MP3 format, then you can easily import them to your flash drive and keep them permanently.

How do you download a slide show onto a flash drive?

The sony psp comes with a feature that allows you to do slide shows. I am not sure what you mean by this. For example, connect your psp to a computer via the usb cord, or by the memory stick duo stick adapter

1.Once you have connected the psp to the computer or what not (find the picture folder and copy a few .jpg pictures into it. Now disconnect the psp from the computer, or take out the memory stick duo and insert it into your psp

2. Now when you have your psp on, you can change the pace of the slide show settings. To do this goto

Settings, scroll down until you see photo settings, and their should be a slide show speed. Click the x button on the psp do see the settings(Fast, Normal, Slow)

Now choose one of the settings by pressing x, and press circle to back out. Scroll to the top until you see network settings, click right on the directional pad, and you will see Photo, go down until you see Memory Stick and hit x. Now you should see the pictures that you have just put on your psp. Press triangle, and at the top you should see slideshow(start). This is the only thing I can think of when you are mentioning slideshow.

You would put files onto a flash-drive just like you would any other drive.

How do you drive stick shift?

AnswerOk when you get in the car, push in the clutch and the brake at the same time. Start the car. Then put the car in 1st gear. Let off the brake, and slowly let off the clutch while giving a little gas. The car will start to roll. When you are up to speed and hear the car is ready to switch gears to 2nd gear(which wont be long after 1st) push in the clutch at the same time as you let off the gas and then pull the shifter down to second. slowly let out the clutch again while giving it gas. Once it "catches" you're good. After practice, stick shift will be second nature to you. Some advantages to having a manual car is that it gets slightly better gas mileage than an automatic and its more fun to drive. Also repairs are generally less expensive and none of your friends can jack your car because they all don't know how to drive a manual and you do. Answer
  1. Push in the clutch, make sure the car is in neutral. Start the car.
  2. Holding the clutch, put the car in first and let off the parking brake.
  3. Slowly, very slowly release your foot from the clutch as you simultaneously apply the gas. If your car has a tachometer, you should hold the gas at around 2000 RPM.
  4. You should start to move. Don't let the clutch completely out until you are going a good speed.
  5. When you get going a little faster and your engine starts revving up, push in the clutch. Shift into 2nd.
  6. Again, slowly release the clutch as you give it some gas.

TIP: When you're starting up on a hill, and someone is behind you and you dont want to roll back into them, apply the parking brake. Hold the brake lever in your right hand, keep the button depressed. Slowly let it down as you start to move.
