Use a "C" clamp to collapse the caliper piston.
Use one of the old pads across the face of the piston. If you use the clamp on the bottom of the piston it is possible to crack the piston. Using the old pad spreads the pressure to both sides of the piston.
That is if the piston is a cup. If it is solid on the face then it screws in, but I believe this type is only used on the rear brakes of cars.

This answer is general, but most often interior door panels are attached by means of 1 or more centrally located screws, and push fasteners on the inside of the outer edge of the door panel. Look in the door handle, or in the arm rest handle grip for a screw, and remove that (or more if there are more than 1.) Next, place a wedge between the door, and the door panel and gently pop each fastener out until the door panel has been removed. Lift up on the panel to get the window squeegee edge off of the top lip of the door frame, and that should be it.
Some panels with power window and lock switches, must be disconnected once you have the panel off in order to separate it from the vehicle. Simply disconnect the harness plug and the panel should be off.
