Cruise control is on...... activated by the buttons on the end of the indicator stalk - read your manual

To turn the air bag light off in the correct manner one must hook up to the cars inboard computer via a data cable connection that is located underneath the driver side dashboard. Then locate the active code and disable the code. Our if it is not possible to get hold of the computers need ed to trouble shot there is a write located in a large bundle if you were so inclined you can track down this wire and cut it thereby cutting power to the light however this is not recommended and extremely dangerous because it is possible to deploy your airbags if you just start citing writes and you could also permanently disable them thereby making them useless in a crash.so if the proper way to fix this problem is not an option try placeing a small peice of electrical tape (black of course) over the light and voila problem solved

Switch engine OFF. Ensure instrument panel displays recorder reading. Press and hold button A ( 26940 ) mileage reset button. Switch ignition on. Keep button A depressed for at least 10 seconds unroll service indicator shows appropriate service interval and the message " insp " displays for 2 seconds. Keep button depressed until " ---" appears in the display. Release button A. Switch ignition off.

if u mean the egr valve it is on top of the inlet manifold you will find it under the plastic cover on top of the engine if u remove the 3 star shaped bolts

on/ in the fuel pump. it should be the 1 with a single wire leading too it.

Purchase a Haynes Manual from your local auto parts store. It not hard to do just a pain. You have to take off alot of stuff.

The whistling will be from a faulty turbo charger

Sounds like an air leak in the inlet hoses. check the inlet pipes from the air filter to the inlet manifold for splits

On the early "Vectra B" models it's under the trim immediately under the Hand-Brake lever.

in the battery box pull up cover

This recently happened to my 2004 vectra and it was the element in the lighter which cost £56 to have replaced at a garage

it sounds like the abs sensor is faulty ive been told that abs sensors is a common fault on the vectra. find a garage that compter tests the abs system

if it's the Isuzu motor it's self bleeding, turn the motor for 5 seconds, leave for 3 mins and repeat. or tow it off.

Cannot find a wiring diagram for door locks.Suggest removing a door panel and looking at the multi-plug on the central locking servo motor.You may not need to know this however, as the central locking control unit is in the right sill panel behind the trim.The remote will probably connect to this. Regarding the ignition switch,acc stands for accessory(ies)and is the first click after "off".This controls things you may want without the engine on,such as radio,cigar lighter etc.Some manufacturers mark the keyhole bezel I,II,start,and some as acc,ign,start."first turn of the key" is usually a way of describing how easy a car may start up.

Most cars and trucks today have what is called a serpentine belt which runs most accessories.They are very dependable and usually easy to replace. To decide if your belt needs replacing, simply look at the grooved side of the belt to see if it is cracking badly. A couple of cracks every 3 inches is normal, but if you see cracks every 1-2 inches I would recommend that you replace it. On most cars and trucks the procedure is basically the same. First off, get the correct belt by bringing your cars VIN number to the parts store(located on your cars dashboard) the parts store may need it. If there are two choices, get them both so you can complete the repair. Once you have the correct belt, take a minute to review how the belt runs across the pulleys and also check to see if your car/ truck has a underhood diagram of belt routing in case you need it. In most cases you will need a socket wrench or breaker bar with either a 3/8" and /or 1/2" head on it and possibly a short extension. Some models may require a wrench of these similar sizes.Now that you are ready to go to work, you will need to find the spring loaded tensioner which is generally located near the top of the belt path; it usually has a shinny pulley on it. Look at the tensioner and insert the tool into it and apply opposing pressure to release the belt.Now, simply install the new belt making sure it fits into the grooves on all the pulleys. Start the car to check it and you are done and you saved yourelf some money!

Carbon build up. Clean the throttle body with a good carb cleaner.

there a little box on the back of your alternator called a regulator it needs replacing get it from your local scrappy

The stat is located under the plenums to get to it they have to be removed front top and back plenum. Once these are off then the coolant has to be drained via the bottome right rad hose. Also the centre bit that the injectors go into has to be undone this does't have to be removed fully but just shifted tot he left a bit to enable you to get the stat housing out. The metal pipe that the left top rad hose connects to has to pull out of the housing towards you. Easier to do this with the left rad pipe totally removed. Once the metal tube is out of the stat housing that the stat can be lifted up and out. stat replace then put it all back together. Sounds hard I know but if you do it you will se what I mean and although it takes time you shouldn't have any real probs.

Also be carfull of the dipstick pipe when remove the metal tube dont bend it to much or you will end up with a cink in the pipe.
