How do you get door panel of Vauxhall vectra?
Normally its several screws on bottom panel and in the handles and surclip
on the window winder handle if they have them. Then the whole panel should pull of and lift up over door opener
This happened to me 2 months ago on my Astra. New clutch! Unfortuantely it means clutch plate is knackered. replace it whilat the car is still driveable or it'll go on you at the worst possible time!

The Oil Filter Top Is a "Big Nut Type Cap" On The Right Hand-Bottom Side Of The Engine.... It Looks Like A Really Big Nut..... Which Usually Is Black.. It Is Not Metal But Its Plastic. The Bottom Part Is Metal.... Be Careful While Closing The Top Agen.... Dont Tighten It Too Much Or Else U Wont Manage To Get It Off Agen!!

Support the car on axel stands under rear jacking points then undo shock absorber and then the axel should fall down lower using a jack to support it making the spring loose and should be able to remove and replace.
Where is the blower motor located in a vauxhall vectra 1998?
I have a V reg Vectra SRI 2.5 and the blower motor is situated behind the cabin air intake filter. Remove the top rear engine rubber that fits across the rear bulkhead. There is a flap between the wiper blade shafts which lifts up, remove filter and blower motor should be revealed.
To gain access to the motor it looks like both wiper arms have to be removed followed by the plastis cover that is fitted below the bottom of the wind screen to gain access to the fixing bolts to the filter holder. Once these are removed the blower cover can be taken off exposing the motor.
I have not completed this process as yet but it seems to be the only way.

Just been to sort out when mine needs doing thourght it would be 60,000 miles but according to garage after they checked Vauxhall parts system they told me it should be every 40,000 miles. Mines now at 55,000 so booked it in for next week!

Take out the glove box there you will see the heater motor the back of that is the resister you will need to get on yyour back to reach up to it.it should slide out

It's an element-type filter (as opposed to cartridge type).
On the front of the engine, just to the right of the inlet manifold, you'll see a black plastic circular cover, with a large "nut" on the top - this needs to be unscrewed, that's where you'll find the filter.
Remove the old filter from the plastic lid, fit the new one, then screw the lid back on.

It is very easy to adjust the handbrake on a Vectra C. All you need to do is remove the rear console and release the handbrake. Under the handbrake is a cable with a white end fitting, push down the end fitting onto the plastic locking device. Then pull the lever and it will be adjusted.
