This recently happened to my 2004 vectra and it was the element in the lighter which cost £56 to have replaced at a garage

it sounds like the abs sensor is faulty ive been told that abs sensors is a common fault on the vectra. find a garage that compter tests the abs system

if it's the Isuzu motor it's self bleeding, turn the motor for 5 seconds, leave for 3 mins and repeat. or tow it off.

Cannot find a wiring diagram for door locks.Suggest removing a door panel and looking at the multi-plug on the central locking servo motor.You may not need to know this however, as the central locking control unit is in the right sill panel behind the trim.The remote will probably connect to this. Regarding the ignition switch,acc stands for accessory(ies)and is the first click after "off".This controls things you may want without the engine on,such as radio,cigar lighter etc.Some manufacturers mark the keyhole bezel I,II,start,and some as acc,ign,start."first turn of the key" is usually a way of describing how easy a car may start up.

Most cars and trucks today have what is called a serpentine belt which runs most accessories.They are very dependable and usually easy to replace. To decide if your belt needs replacing, simply look at the grooved side of the belt to see if it is cracking badly. A couple of cracks every 3 inches is normal, but if you see cracks every 1-2 inches I would recommend that you replace it. On most cars and trucks the procedure is basically the same. First off, get the correct belt by bringing your cars VIN number to the parts store(located on your cars dashboard) the parts store may need it. If there are two choices, get them both so you can complete the repair. Once you have the correct belt, take a minute to review how the belt runs across the pulleys and also check to see if your car/ truck has a underhood diagram of belt routing in case you need it. In most cases you will need a socket wrench or breaker bar with either a 3/8" and /or 1/2" head on it and possibly a short extension. Some models may require a wrench of these similar sizes.Now that you are ready to go to work, you will need to find the spring loaded tensioner which is generally located near the top of the belt path; it usually has a shinny pulley on it. Look at the tensioner and insert the tool into it and apply opposing pressure to release the belt.Now, simply install the new belt making sure it fits into the grooves on all the pulleys. Start the car to check it and you are done and you saved yourelf some money!

Carbon build up. Clean the throttle body with a good carb cleaner.

The stat is located under the plenums to get to it they have to be removed front top and back plenum. Once these are off then the coolant has to be drained via the bottome right rad hose. Also the centre bit that the injectors go into has to be undone this does't have to be removed fully but just shifted tot he left a bit to enable you to get the stat housing out. The metal pipe that the left top rad hose connects to has to pull out of the housing towards you. Easier to do this with the left rad pipe totally removed. Once the metal tube is out of the stat housing that the stat can be lifted up and out. stat replace then put it all back together. Sounds hard I know but if you do it you will se what I mean and although it takes time you shouldn't have any real probs.

Also be carfull of the dipstick pipe when remove the metal tube dont bend it to much or you will end up with a cink in the pipe.

In the transmission

It is Located on the bottom of the fuel filter housing, it has a connector on it that pulls off.

its in the owners manuel it is not very hard.

there should only be one belt so stare hard at it and draw a map of how the belt is routed around all the pulleys then use a ratchet or wrench to turn the belt tensioner the correct way slip the belt off then replace according to your diagram There are two belts serpetine belt and one that runs the air conditioner. The air conditioner belt can be found on passenger side look under front bumper.

It probably an F17. (or maybe an f17+)

The gear box number & type are stamped on the n/s end of the box, as visible from inside the n/s wheel arch.

However, they are stamped very very faintly. After a few years (months??) the small amount of surface corrosion the aluminum casings under-go will cause the number to vanish from sight.

To make them visible again you need some very fine wet-and dry sand-paper, some light oil, a light touch, and a bright torch. Too vigorous an approach will quite literally sand the numbers off for good. You also need to know exactly where to look. I suggest calling in at your local dealer so you can be shown exactly where to look.

if your reverse gear is at the top left then its the f17.

It is situated inside the fuel tank itself. Vectra B that is. Do get to it you will have to lift the back seats up there is a plastic lid you can take off then disconnect the two outlet fuel pipes and electri plug then unscrew lid and ur inside the tank. Swirl pot is inside.

1. turn ignition on (dash warning lights on)

2. If radio turned on, turn it off.

3. Press AS button in, and hold it in while turning radio on.

4. Wait approx 10 seconds (do not release AS button).

5. Radio should beep, and display should now read 10 - - - - (assuming no tries have been made in the past with the wrong code)

6. use pre-set button "1" to scroll the first digit in the display to the number you want (it goes 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 then back to 0)

7. Use pre-set "2" for second digit, etc.

8. Once display reads 10 followed by the four digit security code press and hold AS button for about 10 seconds, until the radio beeps.

9. If correct code entered display will now read "code" briefly, followed by"memory-U" briefly, then radio will reprogram it self.

10. If radio goes back to "safe" the code number is incorrect, or you mis-keyed it.

Note: entering the code incorrectly 10 times will render the radio useless.

After the first 3 tries you need to leave the radio on and the ignition on for increasingly long periods of time before it will let you try again. 7 safe need you to wait at least 30 mins, and more like 1 hour.

The TWO fuel pump relays are in a box just above the battery under the bonnet. they are both PURPLE and are relay number 17 and 18. or that's wat they are on ny v6.
