You need video editing software such as Windows Movie Maker to create video. While version 2.6 Movie Maker program is bundled with Windows software, Windows Live Movie Maker is not (but can be downloaded online for free).

Windows Movie Maker also features a Burn to DVD option too.

right click the program on your desktop and click 'remove'. then click on your recycling bin and right click on the icon of the program you dont want. then click 'delete'

Windows User: On Sony Vegas click File, then Render As, click on the drop down menu and save as .avi then go to windows movie maker and import it. Then publish it so that it goes to .wmv file. Then go to youtube and upload.

Mac or Apple or Linux User: On Sony Vegas click File, then Render As, and save it as .avi. Then google "media converter" and choose the converter of your choice. Click on Browse, find your file, then select your output as .wmv and upload on to youtube.

You will want to "stabilize" the footage. The way that works is by tracking the 2d X and Y axis movement of the video and then apply the movement back onto the video in inverse. I am new to this editor and have used Corel video studio pro for over a year now. Whenever I begin to render a video in Sony though it seems to just stop at some point during the process. It runs fine at first completing about 10% of the video in the space of around 5 - 10 minutes, however at some random point it will just stop. there isn't a specific percentage that it freezes on nor frame. the elapsed time is still counting as well as the estimated completion time.

Ive tried a variety of settings but I need my videos to render quickly and to be of at LEAST 720p quality, for my lets play youtube videos. (It can't find my account to upload straight to youtube so I have to upload separately) Some HD settings were taking too long.

The only settings I have edited have been a few of the project properties as well as the rendering options.

The video ITSELF isnt the problem either for I have tried rendering a few different ones at different lengths now and it still freezes.

I have one other question for you as well. If I uninstalled it then re-installed it would I firstly be able to do that or would the activation code only work once and secondly would it possibly fix the problem?

I'm pretty sure he has some type of expert video editor, he may be using Vegas Pro, or Adobe After Effects.

If anyone else has an idea on what video editor he uses, please improve this answer.

Hmm, for skateboarders in particular: Adobe Premiere Pro or NewTek SpeedEdit -- of course, these are also good for professional video editors, soccer moms, or, well, pretty much anyone. So, any good video editing software will do for skateboarding just as well as for any other type of video.

You can overlap the video (by dragging one over top of another). But, I don't know why you would want to do that, as both would play simultaneously.

Most videos that are slightly overlapped give movie projects a smooth looking transition from one video to the next. Overlapping them entirely would be pointless.

If you are asking whether you can do a side-by-side video split in Windows Movie Maker... you can't. Not unless you download a Split Vertical Effect.
