If by "low side" u mean the port where u put FREON in : with the hood up, as u face the car looking at the engine, locate the Power Steering filler cap. If u look directly down the engine side (not fender side) of the Power steering Reservoir into the gap/space you'll see a small round cap & my '01 s80 has yellow numbers on it. Better have SMALL hands its tight. If you're putting freon in, NAPA sells a SILVER can of freon - its $31.00, but it comes with a gauge attached to the filler hose/fitting so u can read freon status AND it fits the $3.99 cans of freon NAPA sells. If u buy another brand of freon, then u have to buy their freon cans in the future at 2-3 times NAPA price. If ur putting freon in u have a leak & u'll be using more in the future. The other A/C port is located less than a foot to the left of the engine hood catch,, u'll see a small round-ish A/C port knob. I don't know what its for.

The S80 has a wire harness that runs from the fuse box on the driver's side of the trunk to the lock assembly at the rear of the trunk. The wire harness is prone to becoming chafed or rubbed through the insulator and to short out on the metal deck lid, especially if the harness tie wrap is missing or broken allowing the harness to move around. When this happens it is common for the fuse to blow in the fuse box and eliminate the ability of the FOB to electronically open the trunk lid. It is a fairly easy fix to replace the harness and the fuse. A short term fix may be to wrap the existing harness with a bit of electricians tape. BUT that is a short term repair while waiting to get the harness. I've replaced two on my 2002 S80. The first because it failed the second because I didn't use a wire tie wrap to keep the harness tight in place. Good luck.

I don't know if this will work for non-turbo models or other years of the S80, but it worked on my car:

1. Insert ignition key and turn to position I.

2. Push in the odometer reset stalk and hold it in.

3. Turn the ignition key to position II. Continue to hold the odometer reset stalk in. After a few seconds the Service light will begin to flash.

4. Release the odometer reset button.

5. Turn the ignition off. You're done!

With my S80 t6, it was a cylinder misfiring. I pulled the spark plugs and found the bad one. I put new plugs in and a new coil pack where the bad plug was and it runs great.

The tcc solenoid, and both shift solenoids are located in the SIDE pan of the transmission. Towards the front of the car, the tcc solenoid is the lowest one, or closest to the ground.

If you want to install door weatherstriiping on 2002 Volvo S80 you should try to follow this steps:

Open the car door and inspect the existing door seal. Begin at one end and pinch the seal with your fingers and pull up. Find the anchor points for the old door seal and determine if it is glued or clipped or if screw fasteners hold it to the door frame. Use a razor to cut the seal away from the frame for glued applications, unscrew the fasteners for screw anchors or pull up on the seal with pliers where it clips into existing drilled holes in the door frame.

Clean the door frame where the old door seal was attached. Clips that hold the new seal should be sanded lightly with Emery cloth. Door seals that use push clips should have holes that are clear of debris. Use a drill and bit to clean these holes. Clean the door frame down to the metal where the old door seal was laid if the old seal was glued to the frame.

Stretch the new door seal around the door frame for a proper measurement. If the new door seal has push pins or slides that need to be mated with the holes or slides on the car door frame, then you must adjust the position of the new seal to match the anchor points on the frame. For glue-type door seals, you just need to cut and measure to the correct length.

Secure the new car door seal to the car door frame. If you are screwing the new seal in place, use the existing anchor points to fasten the door seal to the door. For a seal using fasteners, push the new fasteners into the existing holes. Glued seals will require you to spread an even layer of glued along the outside of the door frame and then center the seal and press firmly to affix the door seal to the frame. Glue should be allowed to dry at least six hours before closing the door, preferably 24.

remove the plastic engine cover on the top and you will see the coils underneath. They are held in by a 6mm hex head bolt. Mark then 1-6 right to left so you don't put one back in the wrong cylinder. Once the bolts are out just wiggle side to side and the coil with come out. Be sure to unplug the connector for each coil one at a time.
