What are the steps in photo reception?

A photon strikes a rhodospin molecule in the membrane disk and when the photon is absorbed a change in the retinal component takes place which activates opsin. Then bleaching occurs in which rhodopsin breaks down into retinal and opsin. The retinal has to be converted back to its original shape in order to recomibine with opsin, which occurs by ATP. Since that happens recovery has to happen where opsin and retinal become one again to recombine into rhodospin in which the arrival of that photon produces an actional potential and begins an impulse along the optic nerve. :)

Why do some people cry to get their own way?

When they were younger the parents gave them whatever they wanted because they didn't want to have to deal with a screaming child. The negative behavior was reinforcedso now the person thinks that crying and screaming is the only way to get what they want. They are selfish, manipulative and immature. Compromise is a big part of being an adult and a fair person. Dont give in to the guilt trip.

A mother; mother-in-law or female relative can take the place of the bridesmaid by sitting in the front pew to the left where the bride's parents sit and can temporarily be there to take the bouquet (then sit back down in the pew with the bouquet) until the bride has said her vows. Is it ok to crash my daughter's bachorette party I am mother of the bride?

No! Kids often have slightly different behaviour with friends than with their MOM. Think about all those times you had to be a great Mom by being "the parent". (Lecturing or setting rules). The bachelorette party is usually a final "fling" to do a couple of things that Mom would not approve of -- whether that is swear a bit, wear no shoes at the park, have an extra drink, or laugh very loudly, in public.

If you are not invited, you are not invited so don't go... Invite your daughter and friends to your place for a 2 hr lunch instead, if you are wanting to be part of the action.

What is a perfect wife?

There is no such thing as a perfect wife. In fact, no one is perfect. These are some good qualities in a wife:

  • Loving
  • Understanding
  • Respect (if she is given respect in return)
  • Loves children
  • A good wife and mother
  • Loyal ... not cheating on you
  • Good communication skills (and you must have them as well.)
  • A good sense of humor (she's going to need it! LOL)
  • Good to you, her family (if they are good to her) and friends.
  • Likes to socialize

These are a few, but, even at that do not expect perfection because it's impossible.

When the mother of the bride and the mother's extended family live in a different state than the bride and groom what celebration is held for the mother's family who cannot attend the wedding?

  • There is no celebration held for the mother of the bride's family. Her family could send a telegram of well wishes to the bride and groom and these telegrams are generally read at the wedding reception. Relatives could also telephone well wishes or send a card and a gift. Some young people after they are married may plan their honeymoon in the area of the state of their relatives that could not attend the wedding and it is up to those members of the family to either have a small party of sorts for the newly married couple or they may not.
